I am definitely on Team Food Crime where pilk is concerned. I remember watching an old syndicated episode of Laverne & Shirley when I was about 5, in which Laverne drinks pilk. I thought it sounded interesting so I went into the kitchen and made some. It was the first time in my conscious memory that I had ever eaten anything that was so horrible it made me vomit immediately. I've never forgotten that horrific flavor.

When I first heard about cola-milk a few years ago (as Coke-Milk from Golden Girls or something) I got super interested and had to try it. I liked it and had it many times, but every time I drank it, it upset my stomach (because of the curdling milk, I guess). I've since stopped drinking it to avoid the consequence, but I wish I could continue to enjoy it. This was a very fun episode! Both dishes looked super good. :) Get better soon, Nicole!

I really enjoyed the GMM episodes over the years… but I only watch the kitchen now, and the kitchen podcast. I feel like R and L have become a bit to “commercial” in recent seasons. A bit of a turn off for my kids too. There is always the push to purchase stuff…. Buying “access” to stuff that really isn’t so mythical anymore. Now, it’s just ….. stuff.
