A small little tip for stalkers that actually want a unique shotgun. Go to Zaton by way of Cordon through Wild Territory. In Zaton, there is a unique shotgun with a considerable damage increase. People who have played Call of Pripyat likely know it's name already.

If you kill the two guys in the compound before you get on the pipes, tune the radio one time after and you’ll hear a transmission coming in saying you’re coming in from the east and back up is on the way. Thought that was really dope 😊

the best armor early game is the BREAD armor, it drops from bandits at random, my dropped at the silos bandit base close to the poppy field, i killed like 12 bandits there and it dropped, i has a lot of def/res and has 19% psy resist too is super good

@@waveboi7063 found another bugged armor on first map idk the name but the military guys dropped go to the bottom of the first zone where the military base close to the start of the game, where he entered in this video and kill everyone there and maybe it will drop there, it has better defense than the BREAD armor and is INVISIBLE when you look at it you will see nothing in the inventory but a empty item

I mean, some of the best free armor that you can get early game are the SEVA suits. SEVA-V, D, and I suits can all be grabbed right away. Hell, while you're at it, you could run and grab the Cuirass Exosuit as well, up at the SKD building in the Cooling Towers area. Won't be able to sprint in it until you upgrade it, but you can do it. Problem is getting the Koupons to repair them after they're damaged, but that's a problem for future you 😅 Another good runner-up to these if you've damaged them and can't fix them or just want to collect good armor, is the Guardian of Freedom armor, which can be found in a stash. All that said, there's plenty of armor that can be grabbed right away early game that is better than the bread armor 😆

Calling a shotgun a hunting rifle is funny, but the description saying its a rifle is most likely an inside joke from the devs, in shadow of chernobyl there was a quest in the english dub version to "Retrieve my old rifle" where you find a double barrel shotgun.

Shotguns actually are rifles sometimes as it simply refers to a long gun with a rifles barrel. The Shot in Shotgun comes from the shell type it was invented to originally use being a big bore rifle

At the end of video, where you go trough the Military Compound. You can actually fight Military NPCs and one of them drops really good full repaired Military Armor. Insane Phys protection.

Don't know if someone posted this. But when getting the aurora gas mask in this video, proceed north where where you will see a truck, there is a backpack hidden and an ammo drum for your viper-5.

Nice i found all of these naturally apart from the poppy house stash in roof and the raider jacket. Found a few other things as well that aint on here. Theres an anomaly artifact and a secret sort of hide out behind it. i went in there but got freaked out from some sounds so left and for got to put a marker on my map before I ran away lol

There's a decent exo-suit in the cooling towers area which isn't too far to get from the starting area. Takes aproximately 20-30 minutes to get to once you get to zalissya. if you're playing on veteran difficulty, it'll save your life. SKD Assembly Unit, climb around and you'll find it.

There is an 81% SVD in the swamps in the watch tower south of the old church. Technically you could leave the starting area and bee line it through the eastern check point, cordon, and the southern wild islands to go get it. It's a long hike but fans of earlier games get to explore rearranged early game zones on the way. Just maybe skip checking out the church if you don't like mutants. Walk around through the graveyard. Bonus points to anyone who tries this before seven seals using the irradiated route mentioned on the dead stalker at the eastern checkpoint; I don't know if it can be done or what the inside of the checkpoint looks like before that quest is over. Also there are a few boxes of ammo next to the rifle and you can get more from Sidorob1tch and Beard one the way back. I made the walk in a broken merc suit from cordon and random guns I picked up along the way. Just watch radiation if you're checking anomaly fields on the way, or until you snag the SP-99 Science suit from a certain railcar on the border of the swamps; could just bring a bubble with you if you grinded for one.

I found an extended mag for the MP5 in a stash just to the east of the sign disposal (where you get the mask on the roof) There is like a vehicle storage bit just outside of the main compound. Its funny. I created my own stalker stash by accident cause I couldnt carry all the weapons and ammo i got from a big ass compound. Even funnier a couple other stalkers showed up and used the building as a base. Theirs seven of them guarding it so its my own hideout with my own army that just spawned there. So its now my new base!

Playing on the Xbox Series X I'm having a lot of trouble "parkouring". It just feels like "Skif", even with full "energy" and dropping much of what you're carrying, just can't jump high enough to reach some of those difficult rooftops and such. I spent hours trying to access the roof at the "Cowpens" and left frustrated. I find it's easier when playing on my PC.

That stile of wep, is considered a rifle as it has rifling in it, it's a breakneck rifle and can load buckshot or actual rifle rounds for hunting

@joshthewolf8330 from my experience rifled shotgun barrels are generally only for slugs, and yes there are shotgun rifle combos but they have a 3rd barrel and 2nd trigger to account for the rifle cartridge. Anything smaller than a .50 would have a hard time fitting inside the barrel because it would just fall out. If we're strictly talking about the game though then that's another thing.
