asked my Kioti dealer about the start up of my bush hog. He says it’s normal for it to vibrate on start up because the blades spin opposite and need to balance out. I don’t know if this is true but I agree it’s scary on start up. Mine is a Titan brush hog

Watching all your great vids, are there different backhoe buckets available ( without teeth for example). Thanks
@tractorrookie Жыл бұрын
😊 Hi B.B., Thanks for checking the videos. Yes! You are able to order different size buckets. I have taken the teeth off the bucket a couple times, it’s pretty easy to do. Take care!!!🚜🇺🇸🍺

Well done. Do you have a video showing the removal of the loader and installing the snow blower. Thanks
@tractorrookie2 жыл бұрын
😊👍 Hi Keith, I have never actually taken the bucket loader arms off the tractor. I hear it is pretty easy!😂 I have done a couple videos on removing and in stalling the backhoe. I appreciate you checking out the channel. Take care!🚜🍺🇺🇸

@ 4:00 - "I've picked it up and driven short distances..." - did you mean, while operating the hoe, you lifted the tractor from the back wheels and pulled or pushed the tractor a bit to keep working the digging area? Do you need to have 4WD off to do this, in your experience?
@tractorrookie3 жыл бұрын
🚜💪 I do not intentionally move the tractor with the backhoe as I’m working. I am always concerned with frame twist and cracks. Some folks say that is an issue, I have not experienced any issues so far. It would make sense you would want 4x4 off to drag it😊. I would say avoid it. Sometimes while digging, I’ll move the tractor unintentionally and it works for continuing on, but my practice would be to get off and move it. Thanks for checking out the video!!🍺🇺🇸

Great video my friend! I especially like the Disney accents! We have had a great time working our Kioti hard, I am on my second tractor and these machines are build to take a lot of abuse. One thing that would recommend is a 3pt quick hitch and a hydraulic top link. Those two items (under $500 for both) will change your life. Feel free to swing by our channel if you can! Best, -JTF
@tractorrookie4 жыл бұрын
Joe The Farmer 👩🌾 🌟Cool! Thanks man! I have debated the quick hitch. Just thinking about the backhoe and having to take the hitch off for that, but I might just have to do it! I’ll come by your channel and pick up some pointers I’m sure. 🚜😎👍🇺🇸🍺
@JoeTheFarmer4 жыл бұрын
@@tractorrookie The backhoe changes things; but if you primarily use the box blade/brush hog/etc it makes swapping implements a breeze! And if you have a rear remote for the hydraulic top link it is a total time saver. I try to put each tool to the time saved and that's how it pays for itself. You have a great channel man! I subscribed and look forward for more to come. -JTF

Referencing the sound you experience when engaging your rotary mower: Can you engage your PTO implements using the clutch or is the KIOTI electric engagement only? Anyway, I always engage my PTO at a low RPM, maybe 1100-1500, then increase the RPM up to operating speed. Seems to be easier on the tractor and implement.
@tractorrookie3 жыл бұрын
👍My model only has electric engagement. My rpm gauge has an engagement marker and running marker. So those are the spots I use. I will try engaging at a lower rpm. I figured it needed a level of power to move the blades. I’m still learning, thanks for the tip. 🚜🇺🇸
@prow65863 жыл бұрын
I have a clutch only on the NH and engage it slowly with no problem. You'll find the RPM sweet spot for the electric engagement after a while but I'm sure you don't have to have it running at the PTO 540 engine RPM . Heard the salesman in your vid #104 say it is manual PTO if you flip the switch off. Understand now that "manual" just means it doesn't switch on and off when you raise/lower the lift arms. Learning from your vids-thanks
