My Will To Breathe yeah, I've actually wondered where lots of artists went. B.O.B used to be captivating (minus the flat Earth stuff), Jason Darulo was absolutely killer but suddenly around 2013 he attempted to do the style other artists where at that time but that style didn't have the same staying power as his 2010- 2011 tracks. Ironically if you mentioned Jason Darulo now, everyone would say "who?" Even though everyone was bumping Solo back in 2011. Taio Cruz was everywhere and making really good songs but fell off the latter around the same time as Jason Darulo. Lots of people just kinda vanished into Oblivion.

Every few months I randomly look up GCH content, in hopes that maybe their is something new. Came across this video and it's great to see you put up this video b/c you're as big of a fan and fascinated by their career trajectory as me. I completely agree w/ you on everything you said, although I think your 3rd point for why they don't get the recognition they deserve, I think is #1 and your #1 point is 2. I agree GCH lacked cohesion but I think only for the second half of their career, not first half. For The Kids (4/5) is cohesive, albeit a low production album and Papercut Chronicles is absolutely cohesive. I'd even say As Cruel As... was cohesive, especially with the skits. However, what lacked w/ that album is, it wasn't a classic quality album as you alluded to - it wasn't personal and deep diving like Papercut. At that point when their career shifted, and they were in the pop zeitgeist was their opportunity to create a classic and As Cruel As... just wasn't. Granted I love that album (4/5) and I think Papercut Chronicles is a classic (5/5). But Papercut.. was such an unknown release that the casual fan thinks the re-release of Cupid Chokehold is probably their first release, which is ironic b/c it's a re-release. I say all of that to say, I think GCH have a cohesive and classic album in Papercut Chronicles, but it just flew so low under the radar that the alt-rock-pop audience that was by in large mainstream at the time, doesn't even know that album exists. Travie's Bernie Allen project is great for that matter and that's way deep in the archives if you're really into digging.

I'm a big fan of the band already but also had to go through and check up on information that I might be missing or needed to really get right. But being a fan all these years definitely helped a ton and I don't know if I would be able to make a similar video for a band or artist I didn't really care much about

I loved your video! I can tell you're a huge fan. Dont lose hope though, they have been in the studio working on new music. In fact, on the 311/offspring/gch tour they have been performing a BRAND NEW song. Also, Trav assured us on his ig live a few days ago that they will be realeasing new music soon and we can expect headlining tours!🙌🙌🙌🙌 will you be going to any of the never ending summer shows?

I just hope it is stuff they're happy with and it keeps the gym class feel. Sadly I won't be able to go to any of their never ending summer dates because they don't play anywhere close to me. I think if I was a bigger fan of the offspring or 311 I'd try to make the trip. But the closest is probably 4 hours away!!

Thank you so much for watching! I'm so glad to hear you learned a lot from this!!! I'd love to do something on Linkin Park and I'd love to do videos like this in the future. However, the reason I chose GCH besides them being one of my favorite bands. Was the fact that they had a current day question tied to them and their story, and I was interested in the question as well. Linkin Park has had quite the history, some amazing times and some tragic times recently. But besides whether or not they are going to continue with a new singer, there isn't a huge broad question that I would have the knowledge or abilities to make a video about that I feel not too many people have tried to answer. And with things changing everyday, I'd hate to give out wrong information. But I will definitely keep it in mind. Thank you for the suggestion and for watching!!!

Don't ruin the video by dissing Katy Perry bc if you don't know what's it's like to deal with an opioid addict I mean she prob got it so bad, I mean my ex be crazy as shit anyways, but also I know I put her through hell with my addiction, and at times yeah an email or text would be bc she couldn't be around me and I don't blame her I get that part with my ex. So I also get why Perry spoke about it and maybe put in her music bc it was a huge part of her life and def would've affected her, and that is coming from me a guy whos ex had to deal with my addiction helped me get clean then cheated and took our child, so I get it. That comment was just very short sighted I guess. Good video though bc I didn't need to watch a 2 hour video about them... Lol
