MZTV 1545: I Think I Know Why Peter Found Paul Hard to Understand

In Paul’s gospel, the future has come to us. Everything God will accomplish at the conclusion of the final two eons has been placed into our hands, hearts, and minds by God. He time-travels backwards to dazzle us with these baubles of future bliss, handing His coming accomplishments to beings stuck in the dirt-box of Eon 3.
No wonder people think we’re nuts.
Did Peter think Paul was off his nut as he relayed these wonders? Yes. At first. I think the Rock needed a drink in order to hang with Paul’s time-traveling revelations of being extricated out of wicked eons and transported into future kingdoms. Peter, as all of Israel, thought linearly. Paul hopped, skipped, and jumped over Israelite expectations to bring far-off blessings into the laps of recently-idolatrous Greeks.
Peter was happy about it, I think, but could not live in it. That’s okay. It was enough for him to grasp it; he was not meant by God to appropriate it.

Good message, Brother. It's an important one. OrthoBOX Christianity botches the ages/eons, calling this current eon "the church age" and the next eon "the eternal age," neither of which are Scriptural phrases. And they see the end of Revelation as the end of His plan. No wonder they can't see God's final victory for all creation. It is a great blessing to to be given an understanding of the eons and their consummations. Roll on, Brother.

@@Pablo-p7y You seem to be forgetting about the “affliction distress tribulation” associated with “the day of judging“ and “the great white throne judgment“. Rom 2, Rev 20. Of course God will set everything right. It will be painful. Imagine something like the fear or terror when you almost wreck your car or fall from a great height… Imagine that multiplied by 100 and lasting for a few minutes/hours rather than for a few seconds. God will adjust everybody exactly right. It’s not about “punishment“. But that doesn’t mean that it will not be extremely painful, mentally etc.

@@2wildboar23 It's interesting how the Concordant Version identifies God as the "happy God". Torment and vengeance don't sound very happy. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. What crimes are they being punished for then ? The good news Paul preached was to the elect. 2 Tim 2:10 "Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes... Are universalists the elect ?

There is so much scriptural proof of the two evangels, you just need to take the time to look. Once we've been told about it, it's up to us to study, to present ourselves to God qualified, an unashamed worker, correctly cutting the word of truth. There should be a scripture verse that says that. Oh ya, 2Ti.2:15. 🙂 Thanks for the shout out. For me, who Jesus was vs. what Jesus did sums up the two evangels very nicely. It's up to us to verify it.

I'm still trying to parse that one down...didn't Peter identify w/ Christ, the anointed one, the Messiah?? ...I hope it's not too late in the day for you to see this ??? This comment is coming late, since I wanted time to do some study on my own. Your last several videos offer some important information that emphasize the truth of two gospels (Circumcision and Uncircumcision), but I think some of the comments about Peter and the Circumcision folks not appreciating the sufferings of the cross of Christ may have gone too far. Peter calls it the "pole," which may actually be more accurate than the "cross". I do recall even AE Knoch commenting that "cross" is not an accurate translation of the Greek word and that pole or stake is more accurate. So maybe the symbol of the cross itself is a snare? But back to my point, and I don't think I am taking anything out of context with the following quotes. In 1 Peter alone, there is the following: "...to the sufferings pertaining to Christ and the glories after" (1:11); "...seeing that Christ also suffered for your sakes" (2:21); "Who Himself caries up our sins in His body on to the pole...by Whose welt you were healed" (2:24-25); "Christ then, having suffered for our sakes...(4:1)"...you are participating in the sufferings of Christ" (4:13). And there is more. Again, Martin, I'm appreciative that your messages have helped me distinguish even more the differences between the two gospels, and when you read 1 Peter in that light (AE Knoch says Peter's letters make even more sense if applied to the Israel of the future tribulation times), it really comes together. But maybe the "cross" is more a similarity uniting the two than a difference. If the cross is a "stumbling block" to Israel, it's to those who rejected Christ.

The text says no more "sea," not oceans. As in, maybe no more Mediterranean Sea, or Sea or Galilee? Probably because more land mass will be required in that area to accommodate all during the Kingdom period. Readers at that time would not equate "sea" with "ocean," they may not have even known there were oceans. And is God going to do away with all those fish, when they play such a prominent part in Scripture? Just my thoughts.

Why is being extricated in Gal1:4 considered a total removal from the planet but the extrication of Acts26:17 is not? I've scrutinized the context of Gal1 looking for a clue to support a physical departure and can not find it. Was Paul really implying here to the Galatians that they were going to be removed from this third rock from the sun? I did a bit of digging and found this word associated with the conversion of Paul. It seems to make more sense to apply the extrication to being extricated from the system of this age or being transferred figuratively from the kingdom of darkness to light as stated by Christ not only on the road to Damascus (See Acts26:17) but also by Paul as expressed in his letter to the Colossians (See Col1:13)
