ഒരു ദിവസം എന്റെ സ്ഥാപനത്തിലെ കുട്ടികളോടൊപ്പം നീലഗിരി കോളജിൽ താമസിക്കാൻ എനിക്ക് ഭാഗ്യം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. മറക്കാൻ പറ്റാത്ത അനുഭവമായിരുന്നു. ഗസ്സാലി സാർ പറഞ്ഞതത്രയും വളരെ ശരിയാണ്. വാക്കും പ്രവർത്തിയും ജീവിതവും ഒരേ പോലെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന ഒരു അപൂർവ്വ വ്യക്തിത്വം. കുഞ്ഞുകുട്ടികളെ പ്പോലെ കാപട്യമില്ലാതെ ചിരിക്കുന്ന മുതിർന്ന മറ്റൊരാളെ ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല.

I was fortunate enough to shadow Mr. Rashid Gazali during this transformational saga of Nilgiri College. When he took the helm of the college, it was truly the rebirth for the institution. He redeemed Nilgiri from the verge of fall to the surge of growth; and now it has turned one of the sought after destinations for the higher education. It did not happen all at once but with the intensive, deliberate and planned efforts of a powerful team under the vision and leadership of Rashid Gazali. He imagined brilliantly inspired his team continuously, trusted the students abundantly, listened to everyone anxiously and toiled day n night rigorously. When all such ingredients put together, it sprouted a new success story of Nilgiri College. But it's not time to pause or repose but as the Frostian words urge :"Have promises to keep and miles to go before the sleep"...
