Much like the Joker(as funny as it is bringing up a memed character, it's very much true). When he accepts Moebius, he finally feels in control of his life, and he's consumed and obsessed with his only purpose in life, aka M. When his purpose is taken away from him, he feels like he's lost control again and doesn't know how to cope with it, hence the mental breakdown. He's back to who he was before Z made him as powerful as he just were before M died. And yea I love the out of context memes. I just wanted to explain why I think N's motivations are very human, because they're a reaction to total despair and injustice. The idea is that many of us could fall victim to the same situation if we were put in similar circumstances. Even Noah reflects on this, and the same idea applies to Shania.
