On a cloudy Friday afternoon four years ago, I got late to class. I knocked on the door, the professor opened it and told me "you don't get late to class" and kicked me out. I went home upset and lay down on my bed. My mind progressively filled with morose and muddled thoughts when a friend rang me up. She was crying and could barely speak. She called to inform me that our best friend had just died in a car crash. After she hung up, she came over at mine and together we cried until night fell. She then went back home and I was left alone. As everything was keeping me in this dark thoughts spiral, I put on some music. n u a g e s - Gone. The title sadly suited the situation, but it didn't act as a knife in the wound. I was still overwhelmed with sadness, but I was soothed by the music. It was like a consoling presence that helped me channel the emotion or rather, give it a sort of sane shape. Slowly, I began to accept what had happened. Life event. I will always remember this day and how n u a g e s helped me go through it.

I remember this one time I did 2c-B at a rave and when it came on I knew it was going to be too intense so I tried to drive home before I was too far gone. I made it to about a mile from my house and my minivan turned into a space shuttle. I pulled over and parked the van and walked home. On the way I encountered a possum, and we were both frightened staring at each other for moments before he darted into some trees. It was probably 2 a.m., the sky was bright, and the palm trees were purple ( I live in North Indiana ). At my house I crawled in a psychedelic soup of colors on the floor and a UFO landed in my front yard shining brightly through the cracks of the door and the front window. When the drug finally wore off, I walked back to my van. It was still there. I drove straight to Wal Mart and bought a box of frozen Tomales and juice so I could feel something normal. I dont' know why this reminded me of that night back in 2010.
