N&W 611- First Solo Moves 5/9/15

History was made on May 9th, 2015. NW 611 was brought out of her slumber, and sat on display for most of National Train Day at NCTM.. However, as the day drew to a close, the Queen returned to her former glory, moving solo for the first time.
Thus began a series of rolling tests on the engine. A water leak and lower operating pressure would plague today's tests, but it was good to see these kinks being discovered and tested early. Not to mention...Gave us trackside one heck of a show!!
