Great video. The N62 and N63 are plagued with so many issues. Did BMW even check the engine through test during production lol or slap an engine together and sell it. I’m thinking running test on a dyno for a length of time would have shown probably issues. By the the way I own a BMW.

What was the symptom (loss of power / engine studder ?) BMW took $30k of my warranty money / replaced the engine & it STILL has problems..... They convieniently used up all of the warranty money so they now say its the turbos to be bad

Which vacuum “in” should the wastegate should be fully closed? 15 in of vacuum like you said? Is that within spec from factory when it should be fully closed?

Not exactly sure what you are asking but that is the spec I found to measure.

Inches of mercury if that makes sense. I’m still having low boost issues even with new vacuum lines. My Wastegate closes at 7in currently.

I think my wastegate is like the 2nd because I going into limp mode after hard throttle, I check the wastegate if move like that and it is. Do you think that’s the reason I have limp mode? Thank you🙏🏼

Have new engine, boost solenoid, map, hpfp and still the same problem after full throttle and good if i drive slowly but laggy from 0-30

Was it noisy inside the cabin of the car? I just stumbled on this video because I was trying to figure out a sound from my n63.

I don't recall any noise in the car. I had CEL and codes related to it.

I don’t rebuild turbos. Rockauto was the lowest price new at least a couple years ago.
