Also forgot to say not all texture packs go in hires_texture some are designed to be put in the cache folder!

@@ScotsmanGamer oh yeah, glad I said to follow the texture pack options to cover my arse a bit lol. There's sooo much little stuff with this emulator, it was hard to decide what's too much info

The N64 is the only console where I choose not to tinker with the emulation settings. For me, that blurry, lo-res look (as though the entire screen has been smeared with Vaseline) is so intrinsic to the N64's aesthetics. Removing that look via emulation settings would be akin to removing the colour clash from ZX Spectrum games, in my opinion. I'm usually all for upscaling and making emulated games looks better than they originally did, but the N64 is an exception.

I agree, some graphics you have to go with the original look. The Parallel plugin is amazing for that with just enough upscaling to be flattering. Just gotta finish that video.

I noticed that using RMG with Glide, many games develop a slight audio delay after only a few minutes. The audio plays a second or two late, its most noticeable in any kind of shooter like Army Men or Doom 64. Any any ideas if there is any sort of fix through settings? Using vers 065, Thanks.

@@ScotsmanGamer yeah not for me either. Store is cool, if you complete the game with that and the store shaders option on, it should run as good as possible.

I'm confused the Rosalies Mupen GUI that I have installed has a dark theme and the anti aliasing and anisotropic settings only go up to 8 not 16. It says we have the same version RMG version.

If your GPU can't do 16x it won't have it as an option. After some research, it seems a lot of emulators do this. As for the dark theme I'm not sure
