I’d love to see POV driving videos of most of all the Miata’s! I think most people would enjoy it as well! The v8 Miata and 2broke sound soo good

I have a new style of POV video in the works! I’m just practicing with some new equipment. Stay tuned, I’ll be working on these over the next few months!

finally caught up and glad to see you're still making videos, I just got my nb2,5 and my searches were taking me to stuff you posted a long time ago, as you can see I'm now looking at getting new alloys / tyres and surprise surprise you have a 2024 video on that!!!

Great video. The way you shot the angles so we could see how much the tire pokes was so helpful. Most people providing photos or videos of wheel fitment shoot 3/4 angle rear which is not the most helpful. You get it. Thanks for making this video.

Gosh, I have absolutely no idea why I subscribed to your channel. I am all about original stock MX-5s. But you do good videos. So curious I guess 👍. The extent of my “modifications” is to fit 205 (oem 195) /50R16 PS4 tyres. Rims unchanged. 😂 And my insurance company still demanded I register the “modification” with them. They didn’t charge me any extra so that was a relief….

The higher sidewall profiles give a cushier ride with more pneumatic dampening, so expect a harsher ride if going with low profile sidewalls. This could be an argument for using the smaller diameter rim and a higher profile sidewall if you want extra comfort. Another consideration is lug spacing and distance. Some rims have multi hole lug patterns. The NC has a different lug spacing than the NA and NB. The NC has a 5x4.5 (114.3) bolt pattern, where the NA/NB is a 4x100. Also, carry a tire plug kit, as the NC has no spare, and if you do have a spare, check it periodically.

Can you make a update on the turbo Miata

does anyone know if 15x7 with 20 offset with 195/50/r15 will fit on my stock NB2.5 or if rolling or fender work will be required?

running 15x9 with 225/40/15 and +38 offset on my nb and it sits pretty much perfectly I think you can get away with a bit more on nbs

Dear Cash, Can you make a video about fixing the A/C in an NA or converting it to R134a? I would really appreciate it
@CashedOutCars6 ай бұрын
Hi! If I ever put AC in one of my cars I will make a video, but at the moment I don’t have plans to unfortunately
@stumpbumpers5 ай бұрын
Converting to R134 requires rebuilding the existing AC compressor with green seals and o-rings. Also, the lines require adapters to charge it. It’s best to buy a new R134 kit, including lines and compressor. It’s a straight forward installation. If you put R134 in the R12 system it will destroy all the black seals and o-rings. If anyone before you has charged it with R134 it maybe toast. That’s what happened to mine prior to me.

Great timing, was about to buy sone new wheels n tires. Ive a question. Will 195 50 r15 tire fit on a 15x8 +25
@CashedOutCars6 ай бұрын
Perfect! They should fit, but will be on the stretched side and may be beyond what wheel and tire manufacturers recommend. A 205 tends to be more suited for 8” wide, unless you’re going for stretch
@NickVillecco6 ай бұрын
I’m actually running 195/45/15 on my 15x8+25s so you will be fine. Just a little bit of stretch.

Ill go back and look for a video about the V8 but whats the Gas mileage like in that baby? Im assuming like 22 highway maybe more considering the lack of weight

It’s much worse than you’d expect! I’ve been getting 10-11, it’s got a 750 carb on it that’s a bit big so it’s super rich. It also needs quite a bit of love that’s soon to come, it may get better after some fixes
@Anon-greyman6 ай бұрын
@@CashedOutCars 10-11 is certainly not great. Its definitely running RICH. best of luck to you sir. Its a very cool build. Also, thanks for the entertainment.

I get about 15-17 on my built 302 Miata. I haven’t been able to get any good highway mpg tests in bc it’s just too much fun to rip

Would it be safe to buy a Miata with 197k miles and an oil leak?
