Regarding the Champion’s Queue issue it’s so infuriating because in American sports it’s literally the exact opposite mentality. You have to legit beg or force dedicated players to STOP practicing because there is an actual physical limit that will hurt you if you just train nonstop. Even the clowns in pro sports still show up and play hard (Dennis Rodman and Antonio Brown come to mind) and if they don’t they exit their sport pretty quickly. This is why I will never respect NA esport pros, especially League pros. They get grossly overpaid and complain and lack any of the drive you need in this kind of competitive environment. It’s frankly disgusting.

I think you have a very poor point. They could do more, but in reality a eSports pro work schedule is over 10 hours a day. Tell me what sports superstar works out more hours than that. Being that besides the long hours, it is extremely unhealthy to stay at the computer for 10 hours a day so they need to do all the rest. Consequence, as a sports superstar, working out maybe 5 hours a day, you have the free time to have a partner a family and a balanced life. Point out what league eSports player as constituted a family. They can do more, but honestly, I think they do already too much.
@whydidimakethis1112 жыл бұрын
I never said anything about raw hours. I was talking about the drive necessary to compete. Sports stars are willing to do things that could end their seasons or careers over the chance to win. Just look at Baker Mayfield who should definitely not have played football in the 21-22 season but tried anyway. Numerous other players who train outside of the necessary hours despite being told not to because it can be a more serious detriment, especially in the long run. Esports (and sports in general) is inherently unhealthy for the body, especially long term. In physical sports, it can be unhealthy for the short term as well, and that has much more tangible effects on performance. For esports, you have much less serious short-term effects but more serious-long term effects. It's just part of the career these people chose. This kind of high level competition demands sacrifices from people's bodies. But for NA players, it's insanely lazy and hypocritical to demand changes for the sake for competitiveness in the region, then just abandon it when it's finally implemented. Either you try to win or you accept you don't care. I have no patience in this kind of competitive environment for trying to optimize for longevity. Your career choice doesn't allow for that.

I call this one "The Copium Roster": -Huni/Tenacity (if they could buy him off 100T)/Nuguri (would need someone to alter the fabric of reality for this one but he IS FA so HAHAHA. Would req either Tactical, DL or another NA ADC tho) / Sw0rd (same as Nuguri but less extreme) -Spica -Jensen / Nesquik (Nisqy) / Magifelix (lmfao could be interesting idk) -Rekkless (if he would even leave KCorp?)/ Crownshot (same as Rekkless) / Zven (HAHAHA) / Tactical (ugh and if you want to develop him still ) / Doublelift (if Regi gives him his house maybe?) / Yeon (?)-> NA options would be default choices if a miracle happens and TSM has enough houses to convince either KR top. -Shenyi (if you want to develop him still) / Ignar (if Huni top or KR top and NA ADC) / Effort (he's a sub, also refer to Nuguri comment) / Iwandy (KEKW) / Eyla (maybe if you want to develop NA? idk) I just went and looked up the FA list and the Subs for major regions (except for a few cases) and put the ones I liked in. Just interesting to think that most (if not all) of these players are either free agents or subs and would make for a beast team (assuming you could get the exact roster you want). If I was to be realistic, it would be: -Huni / Tenacity (assuming 100T will let him go) -Spica -Jensen / Nisqy (less likely) -Tactical / Rekkless or Crownshot (would have to throw a bag and hope he takes it) -Shenyi (if Jensen and EU ADC / Nisqy and Tactical/other NA development ADC) / Ignar (same as Shenyi) / Eyla (If 2 imports adc/mid)

I have said this before on Dom's chat during the liveviews but 100T is such a dissapointing team for me. It really doesn't seem like they have moved forward at all since they got abbedage and now that he reached his import expiration date and plays like an NA mid they look atrocious, bot lane has also been under performing not to put it all on abbe because that is simply not the case. It also makes the whole LCS field in 2021 look much worse than I thought it was. This team needs to change something, I am not a pro or an analyst or anyone that could provide a solution but even an spectator can tell this team will not do well if they continue in this path, maybe the lock in was a preview to this situation but I really hope not.

I'd go for Huni/Svenskeren/Jensen/Zven/IgNar. Zven spent so long with Vulcan roaming around the map that he's become a pretty experienced weak side player. Svenskeren can play around Huni and Jensen with Ignar running around the map. He and Jensen went to semis together three years ago so they come with in-built synergy. I think Spica should move on from the org after this, his brand is still hot and he's pretty vocal about being really unhappy with how the org has treated him through this. Zven is the most likely weak link, only because for the last six months on c9 he looked bored out of his mind doing this style with Vulcan. I don't think this team would compete for first against C9 or TL, but it has a relatively high floor of 5 or 6th and a ceiling of 3rd. It could absolutely be better than EG and 100T as they stand.
@mrbubbles1882 жыл бұрын
If this roster is for TSM I don't think there's any world where you get either Sven/Zven. Regi destroyed Sven's confidence and made him a shell of himself and I dont think theres any world he goes back. They held Zven in contract prison and forced him to play an extra year there when he didn't want to. Without those pieces I doubt you get Jensen either because the team is still pretty much the same at that point
@Druyn2 жыл бұрын
@@mrbubbles188 Thats a good point re Zven/Regi. I'd still go Svenskeren/Jensen because that existing synergy is a good foundation for stability. Bot lane... I think you grab Eyla for sure and k1ng or Prismal. i think the floor lowers a bot because the botlane is untested, but just out of who's available i think Svenskeren is really good, jensen is self-sufficient, and it would give a good base to figure out what lane they want to play through. and both Huni and Jensen can realiably carry if they get fed. I thought about Cody Sun, but I don't think he'd mix well with Eyla, and I thought about Sneaky, but he doesn't seem like he'd sign with an org like TSM. I think he says he'd only sign with a top roster. What would be really funny thougj is just keep Huni and grab Svenskeren/Jensen/Sneaky/Zeyzal and runback most of the 2018 semis roster

I actually do think EG with Jensen DL could def be a team that can out place both C9 and TL.
@kralbenj2 жыл бұрын
You really think so? I’m not saying I disagree, just want to know why you think that. I think Jensen would be slightly better than Bjerg (given he hasn’t been playing scrims for 6 months or so), and he would definitely be better than fudge, but would doublelift / EG’s support (can’t think of his name atm sorry), really be better than Hans / Core, or Beserker / Winsome? Because I don’t think that’s the case at all. I think Danny mechanically would be better than doublelift, while doublelift could provide some insight into macro during games. But at the same time, impact has lots of game knowledge already, and inspired seems like he is able / confident enough to call for plays around the map. Just wanna know more of your thoughts about why you think this would be an upgrade, as well as why you think it’d be better than C9 and TL.
@mattpatton91832 жыл бұрын
@@kralbenj I think they def could win, but I wouldn't bet on it if the team is put together like this in the Summer split only, simply because I think it would take time for DL to return to form. But yeah the pre-existing synergy of DL Jensen and Impact would be great, and I think Vulcans Aggressive laning would match what DL wants to do, and Inspired is still a beast, that would have lanes that are always stable/winning to play through.
