I kinda like and dislike this movie. When I was young and seen this film, I viewed as glorifying cheating, lying and irresponsible behavior. I saw nothing romantic artistically or metaphorically about it. Only thing I loved about it were the three talented actors that Hollywood placed in the forgotten files. Josh Hartnett, Chris Klein, and Leelee Sobieski.

Why is it that Hollywood romance movies glorify infedility, like in movies from other places only the villains and bad people cheat and the good people are usually loyal hence why they’re the good people, but in Hollywood the cheaters are the good protagonist and it seems really common in the love movies.
