You know, here in Belgium, in the province of West-Flanders, there is a slang word that literally means the exact thing. It's the word 'bere', yet it's pronounced as [bear'uh]. Before you ask, this pronunciation doesn't make any sense according to the phonetic rules of the Flemish language 😅, but what's even crazier is that it's something that I think comes from the old regional dialect (at least, I think so, I'm from a different province😅), therefore it's something that not only youngsters say, but also some of the older generations will say it as well.

@@officialshockstar I’m from east London and been all over west/north west london. I can confirm that suck was a south london slang word that did not cross over to other areas of London. Other areas would say “jack/jacked” for steal, especially east london. Certain areas of London sometimes do spawn off their own slang that stays in their parts, well at least it did before the proper social media era. For example, in north London they would say “shower/showa” “sho” to mean they’re that guy. Those types of words never really went out of north unless north London grime mcs would use them in their bars.
