I broke my clavicle in 4 peaces 10 days ago in a mtb accident. Despite several opinions i decided for surgery. 72h after i’m really happy of first results: no pain, almost no pain drugs, stability, small movements… nothing compare with before surgery situation : huge pain, drugs and at least 6 weeks time to may be have the clavicle somehow fixed again

Broke clavicle 3 times never set last time while sleeping on shoulder and gave out becoming non union finally having repaired properly after 30 years , finding out that shoulder was pulling on neck causing major problems, 2 months now and finally relieved can't imagine that any ortho would think that it would just heal ,and you could live like that wasting littery years of life and living with pain and discomfort also I believe that after my first break with it being now out of place shoulder changes now and causing a torn labrum you would think that they would know about proper alignment????

i had broke my left clavicle and had surgery connecting it back to bone i got a piece of metal basically, but the doc that did my surgery cut one of the nerves around where the surgery happens he said he couldn’t save it but now i don’t feel nothing around that area i feel it but not as much, it’s like i gotta press harder to feel it

had clavicle surgery yesterday 12/20/22...fingers are numb as well as the lower shoulder. thought the it might be from the Nerve Blocker injection but that should subsided a few hours after surgery. should i sitll be numb a day later..unless there is an issue of course. thanks
