Looks good. I was thinking mounting it with panel bond from underneath, would have looked good, too.
@ThePaintPaperHustle Жыл бұрын
Yea forsure but then I’d need to repaint hood due to unfinished edge where cut was made
@frankietyndall9595 Жыл бұрын
If u could find some thin wall fittings could use a 45 degree bend would be like long sweep 90 force air straight into procharger
@ThePaintPaperHustle Жыл бұрын
Fitting or a hose / elbow for end of duct?

Measure once, eyeball 10 times, measure again and cut. Perfect. Or measure once, cut it and realize you fu#*ed up everything by rushing. Nice work man.

Carpenter tip: buy a cheap compass (the drawing circles kind) and set that to your flange width. Then you can trace the outline perfectly.

Great idea

U have new idea for the pipe in-between that hood and procharger or keeping the one thats notched to clearance the frame bar
@ThePaintPaperHustle Жыл бұрын
No more pipe at all on the procharger
@danielrita9663 Жыл бұрын
O.. it's going to be open now ...interesting wonder if it gains hard to say cause of all the new changes u made...u going to have tkm set u a new tune up for new pulley
@ThePaintPaperHustle Жыл бұрын
Yes I think it’ll be going back to tkm
@danielrita9663 Жыл бұрын
I don't blame u on that thats a lot off money in the motor for something that can be prevented like a safe base tune lol its like buying another vowel to finish a phrase the more info u get the better ull get the closer ull be to making any changes to the motor setup and setting the tune urself..

Are you adding an airbox to direct air to blower inlet?
@ThePaintPaperHustle Жыл бұрын
I am not. We don’t want to restrict the air in any way. Just want it to suck in whatever is in front of the inlet
@donald-1463 Жыл бұрын
Can you use two of them for cemtrical on the car
@ThePaintPaperHustle Жыл бұрын
You could if you want to.
@funfun8095 Жыл бұрын
That's what I suggested, to make it look symmetrical.

Would this work for a heat extractor vent (as in putting it in reverse; placing it after radiator for heat can escape )?

Absolutely

Yeah the metal frame under the hood I have to cut it a bit , do u think it would affect the strength of my hood ?

Can you add a link to the part? How sturdy does it feel?
@ThePaintPaperHustle Жыл бұрын
Extremely sturdy. The links are always changing since they are eBay items. Search eBay for Naca Duct and you’ll get a lot of results. Let me know if you can’t find any
@onebads2kracing8 ай бұрын
Sup brother, im thinking about doing this my self, how much of a inlet Temp difference did you see or can you tell it’s breathing alot better with fresh air?
@ThePaintPaperHustle8 ай бұрын
Unfortunately we never had a way to measure any of that and didn’t run it long enough to be able to notice. We were always battling other issues

Wrong place... There don't take any air flow, is in a lower pressure zone, you need move it back at possible closer windscreen
@ThePaintPaperHustle7 ай бұрын
Thanks
@disciple77rc21 күн бұрын
Have you researched naca ducts? They are designed to take air while being flush. That is why they were designed for airplanes. 0 drag yet still create hi psi zone and flow
