Just a couple of days ago you were on 950 subs. Congrats on 1k! The quality of your content is amazing, especially considering you have a low number of subs, but I am sure that will soon change. Do you have any tips on how to create content for youtube? How do you come up with content topics and do you plan how often / when to upload videos? Keep up the good work!

Sup there Azeblack! Thanks for the congrats. As far as creating content for youtube, i am super new to this. I Just started creating consistent content for this platform months ago. I decided that I wanted to start making videos around my hobbies. Tech, DIY, 3d printing, audio/video. I have a passion for teaching people how to do things so lots of times i put educational spins on things, while tying in my personality and comedy. Throughout my weeks I jot down ideas for videos that I have and then build on them with scripts later on. Hope that helps.

This looks like exactly what I have been wanting. It looks like it could easily replace my pc panel pro, no doubt. I had to add my own sticky labels to remember what the knobs do. They are dedicated to a specific thing. I am always switching from my head set to my speakers. I’ll probably end up getting one!

You know one of the things I always mess up is I film all my broll and then I go to edit and notice that y devices are dirty...lol. Hopefully in a few months after really digging into this device, I'll have some good input!

Is there an system source on standard mix? So that I can link all my games to the system source. I understand it as you need to put all games in the game source.

Hey there Retic. for the Beacn Mix, there is no virtual audio devices at all. This is just physical control over what windows allows you to control audio-wise. Like you said, you can group games together and control it from one knob, but no other sources or virtual audio devices are created.

You could have mentionned that this thing is really Expensive! Especially if you compare it's price to other x3 cheaper options that, while not being plug and play, can offer many more knobs, buttons & full macro support ^.^ Nice video btw! I enjoyed it

@@Naaackers Just had in mind the X-Touch Mini with it's 8 knobs & buttons, and you're trading an LCD pannel for led indicators. If you look at other options on the market, a product can become overpriced, even if the price itself is subjectively high or low

@@valvilpro You're trading time and effort for money. The Beacn costs more money, where your proposed solution costs time, effort, and a bit of technical know-how for the mapping. And no, I don't believe that the cost of other hardware is the end all/be all and dictates whether something is expensive or not. It's a factor, sure. I'm also not saying your choice isn't a great option, because it is. But why would I encourage and every day gamer/streamer to buy an x-touch mini when something like this or the Elgato Stream deck + exists?

@@Naaackers There's a software like MidiMixer that can make the Xtouch Mini as simple to setup as any other device, really cool app. For streamers i think the Beacn Mix Create and the Stream Deck + are for sure solid options, and also cooler through their features. But for your everyday gamer/office worker, where budget is important to consider, midi controller can offer more than the Regular Beacn mix (and it's targeted towards them) and no again, it's not harder to setup if you pick the Xtouch Mini especially. But i do agree that i does looks cooler, have the size advantage compared to studio grade hardware that can take big space on your setup... even the cheapest options As your everyday gamer, While i would love to have a Stream Deck + I simply can't afford it, and i can do the same things with my Behringer pannel

This looks super promising overall. The company as a whole looks to bring some great value and production to the content creation world and it’s great to see more competition in this space. I’m curious however, how is the audio latency when monitoring your mix? If I use an XLR mic that’s line in to PC and monitor it through This device rather than the mixer, is there any noticeable delay? Loved the review and you’ve been crushing it lately with the edits and overall quality of your content Bud. Keep it up 😃

As far as that specific use case, I don't believe that tested that. Just based on how it's been in the past, I would assume that you would experience some type of latency. Would be a good question to ask in their discord! And thank you!

Yep! What I do is set the headphone volume on the DAC at like 70%, and do all audio adjusting on the beacn

I haven't tried this yet, but if the bluetooth device is USB connected, I dont see why you couldn't just add it as a listening device. I don't have anything to test with, sorry!
