I wear a lot of solid colours and monochrome outfits so I've just invested in a couple of subtle stripe jumpers/sweaters, a shirt and a top from Massimo Dutti and Marks & Spencer's in brown, grey and black, to add a bit of pattern to my outfits. I am not planning to buy much, if anything at all, for spring and summer as I have enough from past years, especially denim, great graphic t-shirts and dresses, but I'm glad I've invested in quite a few pieces for autumn-winter as this is the longest season in the UK, and I can wear these clothes well into late spring. Love love love Pantone's colour of the year mocha mousse.

I wear my denim shirt dresses with a graphic t-shirt underneath, leaving several top buttons undone. I started doing this because I have this great collection of graphic t-shirts but my 58 year old arms look awful in short sleeves. I was about to donate all my t-shirts when I came up with this way of wearing them - you can still see the graphic and I love wearing the denim dress (or the denim shirt) with the top buttons undone, it's quite a chic slouchy look. I tend to belt my denim dresses to add a bit of structure, I bought several of my denim dresses from Gap and Zara a few years ago, in different washes, lengths, sleeve lengths, etc. They are so long-lasting, and I wear the really old ones as house dresses when I cook, make art, etc.

Hello Nada ! I love your videos and find your tips very informative. You wore a portrait collar denim dress in your video earlier in the fall that looked fabulous, but I never found it in LTK, or other references. Can you link it or let me know who makes it please?

What I find really annoying is that there seem to be just 2 lengths of dresses and skirts: either mini or maxi. What happened to knee high? I think knee high is extremely flattering and easy to wear, and just the right length if you're petite like I am. I like knee-length A-line skirts, I bought a few denim ones several years ago and you can still buy them from White Stuff in the UK. They look lovely with boots and shoes. I can't do pencil skirts due to bulging tummy despite being slim, but A-line is great at disguising a tummy and so comfortable for walking. The Jemma A-line denim skirt from White Stuff is currently in the sale @ just £32, I highly recommend it, looks great with boots, a similar one was worn by Olivia Palermo and it's a very chic/casual look imo, and timeless too.
