In all reality it’s because other than the glory years, there’s zero money in CoD. The game was never meant to be competitive, it’s always been buggy, full of glitches that don’t get fixed until the next game and wildly inconsistent overall. Honestly I don’t think CoD would of had the competitive scene it did if halo didn’t absolutely tank from reach afterward. No the actual problem is the fact that Warzone is FREE TO PLAY and they get a sick camo. To be able to play Multiplayer ranked you have to own the game which is $70 dollars and we got a camo last season that isn’t even animated or looks good LMAO. Does Warzone have more players? Yes of course they do, it’s free to play lmao. That doesn’t negate the fact that they could make the ranked play camos and rewards for both multiplayer and warzone the same for hitting Iridescent or Top 250 every season that way people can play the their ranked play preference of either Warzone or Multiplayer ranked and be content with the rewards they get.

Multi has a number of modes while BR only has resurgence and Warzone
