Been searching for a new antenna for the ft70 and this helps. The stock antenna on Amy radio is a dud. Thanks for the info.

No problem I’d highly recommend the NA771 just make sure you buy a genuine and not a counterfeit and you’ll see the difference.

I order a na 771 vhf uhf nagoya and its 2000% better then the fake nagoya 771 comes with the radio

Good Video. Hate to tell you, but that looks like a fake Nagoya 771. Don't feel bad, I bought 3...(lol)...all 3 had decent SWR's reading though. I have heard of some duds ones that people have bought. It's a hit or miss with these knock off antennas rather you get a good one or not. When buying a real Nagoya, go with BTECH, authorized dealer. I have the Nagoya NA-771, NA-701 & NA-320a. All 'real' Nagoyas, great antennas for the price.. TIP: Nagoya antennas are more bullet looking at the base. No ridges. Plus if you look at the tip/end of the antenna, on the plastic rubber tip....Nagoya's name should be there.

Yep, it's a fake. You can tell by the 'lumpy bit' at the antenna base.

pointless review.. no side by side or tecnical tests of return losses, SWR/resonance .. review is a waste of time.

Yeah. He could have made a 10 second video simply saying "they are better than stock antennas".
