This is the decade that brought us shows like: - Kid Nation, a show where children were brought to a ghost town and had to build a new society - The Swan, where contestants participated in a beauty pageant- after receiving tons of plastic surgery. Yes, the participants were required to get plastic surgery in order to compete in the pageant. - Superstar USA, an American Idol type show that set out to find the worst singer in America. Participants were told not to sing in front of each other and they didn’t sing in front of a studio audience until the final round. The people in the audience were told that the contestants were part of the Make A Wish program so they wouldn’t boo the terrible singers.

Ok the rumor I heard back in the day was that Dasit didn’t write AT ALL, his friend wrote all his rhymes. So that’s why he couldn’t write anything when they had that challenge. Also that one who was rapping about her c-section was a local NYC comedian, she literally did the audition to get on TV. I hope you’re going to cover this whole series because this show was so ridiculous.

I loved this show so much. Even in middle school this provided me endless amounts of entertainment. It's the same production company that truly👏🏽 introduced me to Khia.
