Agreed! Not sure if you've seen theirJam in the Van version of this song here on KZbin. I prefer it since it is closer to acoustic, the camera shooting seems intimate, the result is so beautiful❤️❤️

I'm at home with my history playing randomly when I heard the first strums of this clip, & instantly an awesome Energy surged through me on the tide of conscious recognition. It's Mohali & Nahko "n MFTP... Really deep song of our Red Land, the Dreaming, the Stolen Generation,& our front line Warriors of The Deep, the Sea Shepard. If only we did our ego's pass from us, we'd have that much more room for Love & Compassion. "It's gonna take a WOLF to Howl..."🇦🇴🇦🇺🇦🇪🇦🇩🇦🇹🇦🇼🇦🇽🇦🇿🇧🇦🇧🇪🇧🇷🇧🇴🇧🇯🇧🇮🇧🇫🇧🇹🇨🇦🇨🇫🇨🇭

After I got back from my third and final deployment in Afghanistan I came home expecting to have my family but I came back... My wife was gone found somebody else fucking filed for divorce and I don't have children with her but I've got five daughters and she wanted zero responsibility so they went back with their mothers and I lost custody I lost my paternal rights to my fucking youngest to yeah I'm a little sore about that one... Always will be.. But anyway I turned into a heinous shitbag needle using drug addict. Any opiate I can put in the needle and as much methamphetamine is I could get my damn hands on. I only started using it because it made the pain just made everything numb. But it made my life a whole lot worse. So anyway my third time and rehab which began... January 7th 2020... So yes I'm now three years 8 months into this... Completely clean zero relapse is no fuck ups at all... So I was sitting in music therapy... And I'll tell you music therapy is a fucking horrible horrible idea for some people because they picked the most depressing shit to listen to... But anyway on this particular day I didn't skip it even though I wanted to and I'm sitting there and somebody had picked the song Wash It away.. dondilah sessions version. And I had never heard of this person I've never heard this song I listened to the first verse and I'm like... What is this shit?? Halfway through the second first when he says today is a good day for my ego to die for the second time.. something just broke inside of me or whatever I gave up fighting everything and everybody I couldn't fucken do it anymore. This man's music literally saved my life and has many times since then. My head dropped to the table and I fucking cried like a baby in front of forty-two men. I was raised by a single mother to not cry in front of anybody ever because it's a sign of weakness and people will pray on that and all my life I've never really did that and I'll tell you that's a shity fucking way to live it really is. I had so much anger and rage in me.. especially coming back from my third and final deployment. We did a lot of bad shit over there and I'm not even kidding fucking war-on-terror? No it wasn't that ended after the first like I don't know 10 years.... So yeah I was full of hatred rage just it was awful I was not a pleasant person to be around anymore whatsoever. Yet somehow this man's music broke through all that shit and I'm alive today because of that. I pray someday I get to meet this man and give him a hug and just explain to him how he saved my life with his music because I truly believe that had I skipped out on music therapy that day I would be dead by now I know I would or I'd be in prison. God bless this man. He is truly a godsend to humanity 🙏🙏

I have watched dozens of his musical videos on YT and this is the most recent, in a way I watched a musical evolution from very early Nahko to present. Amazing is all I can say. He is an astute musician and fine song writer. He has a great positive message and unlike so many present day singer son the scene, you can understand his lyrics which to me is so important. If I can't understand the lyrics, I'm out of there. Songs tell a story, and Nakho's story is definitely worth listening to.

For real it's no lie from the beginning of creation in the day Man died every struggle we face as the human race is no more than a line traced upon the stone the zig zag line that points the journey home. If not now when i ask you my friend? Will you accept it's fate that you sit and wait for one to come to do what you should have done? When you gonna wake up and realize this is your life this is where were supposed to be nobody is coming to save you the one who came came to show you the way? The rest is up to you.. Behold i stand at the door and knock.. Does that sound far away to you? Beware lest i come to you as a thief in the night. And what would he steal if not your life while you wait and do nothing?
