Would this work on gel nails? I mean if I was to put too coat, cure it before using any of the sticky materials. Would top coat over that be a good idea?

It would work easily over gel. I only use gels. After you cure wipe tacky layer off with alcohol so it's ready for sticky items. Then you'll actually know it's dry if you use gel vs polish.

You could easily use either one. Gel would be faster at drying. I think she's using regular nail polish.

She's using everyday nail.polish, no light. But you can definitely use gels!

My nails take forever to dry. Which is why i dont try these hacks. It would be a smeared, hot mess! 😅 What do you use to dry yours?

@@vcka Forgot to mention: The quick dry top coat needs to be applied after the previous layers are almost completely dry.

I would use a good fast drying top coat. Essie has one called "good to go" one of my favorites. You want to wait until the top coat is fully dry so I would wait like an hour or so before using tape. ❤

Just use sticky tape, etc, costs nothing. Nail industry is just a expensive CON! Polish just shrinks, chips off, looks bumpy, lumpy... GRR! UK 🇬🇧😱
