Well the reason fay is like this is because kristi has been doing her nails for so long and that’s I think where you need to start. Find a tech you feel comfortable with and as time goes on you will start developing that friendship and then you too could become a fay. She has been going to kristi for 8 years once a month. My tech and I have an amazon friendship and I may not be her fay but if I wanted to one day she would honestly act like kristi it’s just the friendship and respect

Jupiter, maybe this gives her confidence to speak up and tell the tech how she wants her nails instead of being intimidated by them to not express how she wants her nails done, since she pays them to do her nails. They did the same to me, making me feel small and insignificant, and getting angry if I even said a word. The way salons treated me was this.."Sit down, shut up, don't yelp when we are careless and cut you because we are distracted by other techs chatting, you will not pick your own style, or color that makes you the client feel pretty, but us making your nails as hideous as we can because you're crap to us, pay us your cash, who cares if we made you feel like trash and get the hell out of our sight..oh, see us in two weeks!" I haven't darkened the door of a salon in two years because of that. I have saved a lot of money though. I have found a caring tech that makes me feel worth a damn and feel good about myself again...me.

I member watching my 1st video *of Faye* getting her nails done and being completely blown away by how long they were. I'm not going to lie, in some of the other tutorials with Fay in them, she got on my nerves...To the point I'd want to mute the sound. She would always try talking over Kirsty and take over the show, so to speak. However, today she wasn't too bad. She actually let Kirsty do her job and speak to her viewers without being a loud mouth and interrupting Kirsty for the whole tutorial. Kirsty is such a wonderful talented nail tect! 💅🏼

I love Faye's nails so much! I've actually had the same nightmare about my nails. Only a few on and working all day. No time for the salon or to even try to do them myself. Really a nightmare when you're used to having nails on. I do have other things to worry about but, in the dream, it was like my job depended on my nails! It was so weird.

There's no way. She would scratch the crud out of her client's scalps and there would be a ton of color stains on and under her nails. Hair would also get HELLA stuck under all those stones and embellishments and wear them down majorly. I have fairly long nail enhancements, but nowhere near this long-- and they get absolutely obliterated from all the water, the chemicals and just all of the hair that I touch all day wears them down-- and I don't put embellishments on them. Legit-- my coffin shape turns into squoval in less than a week because having hands in hair wears them down so much. Even large hand condoms cannot contain just my nails. LOL.

@@Kt-cn2rq I humbly disagree. The acrylic itself was still in good shape. It sucks that she had lifting but that is taken care because of the repositioning of the apex as long as you completely remove the lifted portion. When the smile line grows out just too far or the acrylic becomes too brittle is when you start talking about removing and reapplying. Or of course she wants a complete change of design. Even then, depending on how complex the design, you can sometimes file/drill off the colored acrylic and start over. It's a lot of work but if the nails are newer it could be worth it. Just as drilling out the smile line and reapplying when keeping the same colors to correct the smile line can work. IMHO...In this design, it is so intricate, you would have to remove and reapply.

Every 2-3 (sometimes 4) fills prior to getting your nails done. It just depends on who you are.

Does the skin around your nail get stronger the more you do this or somthing because I could never file my nail that roughly with the file touching my skin without seeing blood, it's a struggle even when I get them done to make sure the nail tech knows when I can start to feel it tug at my skin and even then half the time I still leave with a finger or two that got cut/scrapped.
