OMG, THANK YOU! I am not a professional nail technologist. I just do my own nails and have had a nail that broke like this. I had no idea what to do and couldn't afford to go to a salon so, I left it alone. I'm glad I made the right call! At least now, I know how and WHEN to repair it, if it ever happens again.

I love the way you explain to your watchers and how you are not afraid of other pro's opinions. I have bin doing nails since 1976 and as much as other nail techs may not like it " I DO AGREE WITH YOU 100 0/0 ". Now if I may say so .... if you were to not have done it fully sculpted I do believe it runs the risk of having water or liquids get under the nail where it is damaged and the humidity trapped between the plastic and the real nail could indeed cause more damage and even a fungi. " But " placing the acrylic over the area and sealing it with the acrylic prevents that from happening and allows the nail to grow from under the cuticle as it normally does PUSHING ALL OF IT OUT EVENTUALLY and with a little extra weight at the point of damage helping it adhere better when growing the natural nail back to cover that space ... Also if I may add .... acrylic is a more flexible compound that because of its gritty termination , " may even have better breathing than plastic tips. But that is up to your understanding. At a dental office they will let you know that if it is used on the roof of your mouth for dentures ..... " then how harmful would that make it on your finger tip "? Yes I was also trained in making dentures .... hahahaha . I enjoy you guys an awful lot. Those who think they know it all cause of their years at this don't make room for the newer stuff so I always watch .... Thanks a bunch and God bless. Keep those videos coming , we love you !!!!!! yay !!! VIVA CHRISTY !!!!

I’m licensed hairstylist/nail technician and in school we were taught acrylic tips over forms. I’ve done Fiberglass as well. You have to measure, file down nail and time consuming over forms. Can you do gel creating a nail with forms. I like Gels. Your teachings is so precise. Love from Canada 🇨🇦❤️

@SunkissedMalice6 жыл бұрын
Tanisha Robinson Oh acetone would hurt like a biiiitch! Lol. I assume most of it came off with the natural nail though.. and any remaining bits could have been picked off? Oh so painful regardless.. 😟
@jankasidlo51426 жыл бұрын
Tanisha Robinson first wait ubtil any bleeding stops and the pain is not so intense, than you cut off the lenght, and file off the rest, if you don't get off all the product at once it is not a big deal as long as exposed nailbed is free of any product. Yes fileing will hurt, but fungus and bacterial infection is worse than that

For someone who is just starting out, what monomer and other products would you recommend from your brand?
@somanyeevees6 жыл бұрын
I would say max adhesion liquid and the clear powder. I'm a beginner and I started using products from AliExpress and bornpretty and thinking I was terrible at acrylics but I got naio products and they're so easy to use! And a brush of course :)
@nobodytoanybodyoranyone6 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t use Max adhesion to start. They used to do a beginners kit on the website, that’s what I used to get started. Small amount of product in it but it’s cheap and gives you everything you need (well nearly everything). In that kit they had medium speed liquid and that gives you more time to play with the acrylic before it cures.
@nobodytoanybodyoranyone6 жыл бұрын
Although that said, max adhesion isn’t bad to start with at all, when I started out I had problems with lifting and once I switched to max adhesion it really helped, but for me I’m still glad I used medium speed liquid first because it gave me more time to sculpt the acrylic before it cured
@cassamoroll6 жыл бұрын
theres an odorless liquid on amazon in a brownish bottle. ive used it for years, it’s really good.
