This city has incredible potential, so I think its administrators need to keep up the good work and adapt its sidewalks to international aesthetic standards and get rid of those gutters that make it look horrible... a subway train system should also be planned.

True.. Once there is dumping in such drainages, they become clogged and that should be the main challenge which manifests especially when we have abrupt downpour. There should be adequate measures to ensure they use modern and safe designs for the drainage systems.

Thats because advanced sewage tunnel system are a cost the municipality is reluctant to invest in.

those post they have erected along Ronald Ngala Street; I think out Kenya engineers haven't learnt yet, with chaotic city like Nairobi where matatus and buses are squeezing and pushing those post normally end up getting knocked halfway down and they are never replaced, they end up looking ugly. anyway, nice work being done i love this,

We hope some concerned authorities can read the comment and share with us an answer how such an issue will be addressed. I suspect that the size of the road may reduce hoping they will set up a separation slab meaning it will be hard for vehicles to cross to the post. Let's hope it will be safe and maintenance will be taken seriously. Thanks for the amazing comment and for the support. very nice. some things i want Kenya to work on is building codes + enforcement of building codes, lessened corruption on the local level (especially police officers and officials, and more jobs in sanitation and trash pickup. also, safe sidewalks would be nice.

We hope those in charge can adhere to all safety standards and general guidelines to make sure full adherence to building codes that enhance environmental conservation and safety for all people. You know any form of infrastructural development in Nairobi doesn't excite me any more cause for some peculiar reason the area is left at a worse state than before... why build culverts ...storm drains and tunnels and leave piles of rubble on the road side

There is a empty road up there This is the result of rutos government, shooting up the prices for using the highway from 120 to 180, and saloon car from 300 to 500ksh if this president was wise this congestion is costing kenyans and the economy a lot of money.

There was an online discussion sometime back where people were saying that they use the expressway once in a while due to increased rates. Some opined they should maintained the previous rates to ensure it lures many motorists to use the expressway which could result in improved revenue.
