The Sup boarder review was accurate, and next time will take more heed regarding weight, excess rocker and sluggish speed in any thing less than 6'+. I purchased the 8'-6" Barebones as a step-up for +6' surf. Unfortunately when it arrived I was unpleasantly surprised by it's weight. Really heavy to carry and un-responsive in the chest high or less waves. Rode it several times in different conditions from -10' and the weight, and excessive rocker just kill the performance of this board. So now it sits waiting for a new owner. Lesson learned; I'll stick to my Infinity's. much lighter, faster, and superior performance.

Thanks for your comment. Always good to hear what others feel too. This board really works well in the right conditions when it on. Just suffers when its not!

hey guys, are you going to do any reviews on the Fanatic range ? one on the new prowave or stubby would be great !

Hey Ben , We haven't got any prowaves at the moment. But have a iSUP stubby about to be tested (not that you can compare that to a pro board) We will see what we can do.

Naish starting to put out more "bomb proof" sups.... something for the regular and frequent user - and not just for the sponsored riders and so forth! Mad dogs are a good example. And yeah.... you have to stop doing that "Mad DAWG" thing! :D

what tail pad would u recommend for a sup surf board?

Just a good quality surf board tail pad. With a 3M sticky base will do the job.
