For many, the same. However, you set a splendid example by "asking" essential questions that guide us to another day. I spent a life in retail(kinda like a life coach selling high-end perfumes), and I got to my 40th., 50th., 60th., and 70th. birthdays looking at the man in the mirror. And I kept in mind a fundamental question to begin every encounter with a client: "How may I help you?" You seem to know this quite well. Thank you. I'm in FL half the year and New England the other half. I know both areas pretty well and have some suggestions for you but it would be helpful to know what type of venue you are looking for before I can make any recommendations.

@@maxbear215 Well, a few things: Ability to host 10-25 people under one roof, be queer-owned or queer-celebrating, be body positive so elements can be clothing-optional, be able to provide food or have recommendations for chefs/caterers, feel "nice" (aka nothing dingy or too rustic), and be at a price point that allows me to still make money (if they are going to charge me $350 per person/per night, the retreat quickly becomes far too expensive for anyone to attend)

Perhaps when we ask many of these questions, we are connecting to the parallel existences we have created when making decisions. It's helped me accept ALL of me and be who I am without all that baggage and shame around being a gay man, who is not a "well-hung" man, by any means, but also accepting that part of me and loving that as being a part of me that I love dearly. I do believe we all have "crossroad moments" where, if we had chosen differently, our life would have unfolded differently. I know I often ponder certain points in my life. However, I also believe there are no "right" or "wrong" choices. Whichever choice I made, at any given time, I made to the best of my knowledge and ability. Looking back, being older (maybe even a little wiser) I would perhaps make a different choice. But that would mean, if I had made that different choice in the past, I would have been a different person back then and I would be a different person now. However, I am happy with the person I have become and who I am now - so in that sense, I've made the "right" choice ☺

What do you have against the Heritage Foundation?
