நக்கீரன் வார இதழை 1988 முதல் படித்து வருகிறேன்.சில நேரங்களில் படிக்காமலும் இருந்திருக்கிறேன்.ஆனால் முதன்முதலில் நக்கீரன் வார இதழ் என்னை ஒரு கருத்துக் கணிப்பின் மூலமாகத்தான் கவர்ந்தது.1989-ஆம் ஆண்டு சட்டசபை தேர்தலை முன்னிட்டு 1988-ஆம் ஆண்டு கருத்து கணிப்பு வந்தது.வரும் சட்டசபை தேர்தலில் திமுக அதிக இடம் பிடிக்கும் என கருத்து கணிப்பு வந்தது.ஆனால் மெஜாரிட்டி கிடைக்காது என அதில் கூறப்பட்டிருந்தது.ஆனால் அந்த சட்டசபை தேர்தலில் திமுக ஆட்சியைப் பிடித்தது.கருத்துக் கணிப்பு மூலமாக என்னைக் கவர்ந்து இன்று வரை காசு கொடுத்து வாங்கிப்படித்து வருகிறேன்.சிவாஜி கணேசன் சிங்கப்பூர் சென்ற பொழுது இறந்து விட்டார் என வதந்தி பரவிய பொழுது இல்லை அவர் நலமாக இருக்கிறார் என செய்தி வெளியிட்டிருந்தனர்.விடுதலைப்புலிகள் தலைவர் பிரபாகரன் இலங்கை ராணுவத்தால் சுட்டுக் கொல்லப்பட்டார் என தினமலர் செய்தி வெளியிட்டது.அது வதந்தி என நிரூபித்து அந்த செய்தி வந்த தினமலர் இதழை பிரபாகரன் படிப்பது போல நக்கீரன் அட்டைப் படத்தில் வெளியிட்டு பரபரப்பு ஏற்படுத்தி தமிழக மக்கள் மனதில் நக்கீரன் இடம் பிடித்தது.இன்னும் ஏராளமான செய்திகள் உள்ளது.எழுததான் இடமில்லை.

I have fallen in love with this man and editor of a leading Tamil magazine Nakkeran Gopal for his pleasing manners. He suffered hell in his profession and in the end triumpant. Having a friendship with Kalaignar is not an easy joke. He is very humble despite his towering achievements. Sorry for my ignorance of posting my comment 4 years after the interview was taken. But that does not matter due to the excellent interviewer and interviewee. It will be too good even after several tears from now.

Work for samathuvam, sagothrathuvam and sudanthiram. In whole of India single man stood firm ly for the above and wrote constitution. How much pressure he might have undergone.
