More the years given, it is guaranteed to sell. It is easier for the company and dealer to sell. If the company is branded, it will surely give WARRANTY. If a company does not provide Warranty for the product, then the company is not confident about the quality of the product or the liability with the consumer. When selling a professional Water pump the seller is supposed to describe the technical specifications of the product . So the customer can decide which model is suitable for his or her use. About the pricing, I see big margin taken from various dealers and sellers. . Which is unethical. The labour charge is more than the product brought. ..

People should get the quality for what they are paying for. About the warranty terms, I am ok if practically customers are benefiting from it.
