Amu Darya River full journey

The Amu Darya (also called the Amu, Amo River, or Amudaryo, and historically known by its Latin name Oxus ) is a major river in Central Asia and Afghanistan. Rising in the Pamir Mountains, north of the Hindu Kush, the Amu Darya is formed by the confluence of the Vakhsh and Panj rivers, in the Tigrovaya Balka Nature Reserve on the border between Afghanistan and Tajikistan, and flows from there north-westwards into the southern remnants of the Aral Sea. In its upper course, the river forms part of Afghanistan's northern border with Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. In ancient history, the river was regarded as the boundary of Greater Iran with "Turan", which roughly corresponded to present-day Central Asia.
The Aral Sea was an endorheic lake lying between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan which began shrinking in the 1960s and had largely dried up by the 2010s. The name roughly translates as "Sea of Islands", referring to over 1,100 islands that had dotted its waters.

Caspian tiger sightings were recorded at tigrovaya! during the 70´s and 80´s by russian troops and during the 2000´s by american military! it is believed they migrated there from afghanistan!

Ese es uno de los grandes ríos que alimentan aún al Mar de Aral en Kazajistán, nace en las montañas de los Himalayas y desde ahí hacen su gran recorrido alimentando a cientos o miles de poblados y ciudades, impresionante.
