Nice work. I can never tell on Josh's top-down cam wether his series iii pedal LED is lit. Your top-down camera is way better than Josh's top-down camera. And the way you put it in an inset, as well.

At 12:30 and I think JHS has the prettiest. I love the uber clean delays. But I also really love modulated tails… If the Fender’s digital setting sounded like JHS’s, or if JHS had Fender’s mod circuit, that’s what I want.

My biggest problem with delay, reverb, and flanger (alot of pedals) is getting them subtle enough. I think the fix would be as simple as a pot change but im not a mod guy. Its kinda like those amps that go from off to painful in a millimeter very hard to work

Hey you should try out the empress tape delay pedal. The black one with gold letters. It has a really nice blend knob to make sure the repeats stay in the background.

NUX Tape Core Deluxe is a lovely sounding tape delay with reverb, I use it very minimal most of the time, I’m not a lover of loads of effect and drowning your tone, this pedal works for me fantastically, but we’re all different and you might hate it! But for what the pedal gives and does, built well and definitely worth more than the £50-£60 new that it costs.

Nice demo and nice pedals. Fender easily best IMO. But at a few $$ more a TC Electronics Flashback 2 runs rings around all of these with stereo, deep app editing, artist presets…

Open the back of the Space Echo, you can tweek it where it sounds like Chorus along with the echo. When you have time to mess with it

I would love to hear the same comparison with the Reverbs. With a delay you can make a great pro sounding delay cheap by using the re-released Panasonic vintage BBC chips. NOT so with entry level Verbs until recently. I like my JHS Room Reverb better than my Neunaber. I would love to here the JHS up against the Hammertone

I'm with Ryan. The Space Delay is a KILLER delay. It may only have a couple tricks up its sleeve but wow are they some great tricks. Sleeper pedal of 2022.

I need to update the internal pots on my Hammertone Delay because what you got here sounds beautiful. The default makes the mod switch pretty much unusable.

NGL, I hate pedals that have such important controls as internal trimpots... Just saying it'd be nice to be able to control that modulation on the fly, but I get why it's not always possible to put pots on the outside with certain designs. Sounds really cool though! I really like my DIY Space Spiral for wacky modulated delay stuff, really fun!

lots of pedals have trimpots for all sorts of functions. Sometimes just to let the manufacturer dial in variables affected by component drift.

@@60CycleHumcast For sure! Biasing pots and the like are fine, but the KOT for example having the presence trimmer inside kinda sucks if you're playing it through multiple amps. It'd just be handy to have rate, depth, presence etc... accessible on the outside for ease of use rather than having to open it up to make an adjustment. Just a minor gripe of mine...

Believe it or not, Behringer has a pretty decent bucket brigade delay pedal that I use. I always go with an inexpensive version before I spend money on a pedal that I may not care for at all. At roughly $25 a throw it’s worth trying out.
