The first time I ever tasted powder milk was in Nigeria visiting with husband. I forgot where I was and asked for cereal. I was given cornflakes with no sugar and room temperature powdered milk. It tasted terrible. Never again.

During a short, tough spell in the 60's, parental illness in our home to BOTH parents, meant getting a pair of sneakers tied by the string. Fuc* it! I wore them proudly anyway, bcuz what I wore didn't determine acceptance by my neighborhood. Who I WAS determined THAT, and I was AKWAYS accepted as a leader of my groups of friends... even in those sneakers. To this DAY....I never pay more than $50 for a pair......
