Sorry, I got this clip confused with the Orange Jam clip. Guthrie's playing his Signature Model Modern (24-fretter) here and playing the Ocean Turquoise Classic on Orange Jam.

The crowd fails but as usual, Guthrie is astonishing - one of the best ever. The amps are of course, outstanding :)

Looks like the relatively new John Suhr Modern 24-fret model. Check his website, he's got a cool new carved-top version too, Not the usual carve, more of a fullness than a bulging.

This guitar is the new Suhr Guthrie Govan Signature Model that Suhr Guitars introduced at NAMM. Guthrie just got that guitar right before NAMM, so he has had it for a few days at the most when this video was filmed. BTW, I work at Suhr as the marketing guy and worked with Guthrie in developing this guitar. :)

woh I thought Guthrie Govan was an old country man back in the early 30's but I didn't expect to see this! He's great!
@kerranz14 жыл бұрын
@metalheadshredder1 It's a John Suhr Guthrie Govan Model. (Similar to the Modern 24)
@alexkhan200015 жыл бұрын
Besides the new GG Sig Model (based on the Modern), he also has a blue metallic Modern with the Floyd, the Std model in Cherry SB with the reverse headstock, another Std model in Root Beer finish, a Classic (Strat) in Ocean Turquoise (the one he's playing on this clip) and a Classic T (Tele) in Butterscotch. So, yeah, he's got a nice collection of different guitars with different woods and pickups, etc. I'm also holding another Std for him here in the US. He's got 7 Suhrs and he'll get more. ;)
