Great video, thank you. Looking forward to a post show review/wrap up. Yes, T-Rex went belly up and stopped breathing. So I am pleasantly surprised to see them back. But the best news this year so far is the return of Digitech/DOD. An innovative company, who’s products actually work and sound like their demonstration videos, unlike EHX… 😬 looking forward to getting my hands on a Freqout pedal, finally. I should get the Vox Brian May amp and cab early next week. Just waiting for it to clear customs.

Interested on your thoughts on the Vox BM when it arrives. I’m very buzzed about Digitech / DOD. I’ve seen a video from namm where they are talking about new products already being developed. Exciting times!

Whats up Dan. Here's my nerdly 2 cents. The Simplifier is the most interesting new thing for me. I like recording guitars and guitar/synth blends using the Boss IR200 and my new UA Ruby. Very convenient. Direct recording has come a long way these past few years and I'm loving it. Not really tempted by the new UA stuff... I'm sure it's great (I LOVE my Ruby), but I'm covered with my Source Audio Collider and Meris LVX for crazy, high quality reverb and delay. Max Comp sounds cool but I'm covered there too (Tech21 BoostComp). Hyperswitch - don't need that, even if it were priced reasonably. Lizard Queen is a hard pass. JHS - yes, EHX - no. Octave - yes, fuzz - no. All the best to you. See you on the next one.

@Dan Leggatt Collider is phenomenal. The only thing is you control both effects with the same knobs. I think you can save presets with the app, but I haven't tried that yet. It's easy to dial in sounds, but I don't know about saving them. It doesn't stop me from getting great sounds though.

friedman is working on a crazy amp which sounds like a plexi on variac and it is a 20w head. Hope he will announce it this namm.

@@DanLeggatt you know being a Mesa guy I'm intrigued with the Neural DSP Mesa/Boogie Mark IIC+ plugin suite. Also Reba's Bare Knuckles Triptych single coil set. Anything else would be great... just enjoy your "nerdy" take on gear. :)
