I think it’s great to remember that almost every company has INCREASED their pricing so the fact that Korg has incrementally improved Kronos 3 while fully maintaining backward compatability is an improvement while keeping the pricing very low! It shows you how way ahead Korg was when they released the Kronos series. Workflow speed improvements and improved sound are all great to see!

Come on...Kronos 3 is the same as Kronos 2 back on 2015, with a different motherboard. All the investments were already amortized, so the low price. It's old stuff

Thank you so much Sir! As a musician, owner of Yamaha’s Rolands, Kurrweils, Korg (01/W, Triton) (Kronos 2 of my previous church), and in addition working in the IT field people need to understand that the Kronos, EX, and 2 used a computer motherboard with SSDs inside. So, in order to manage all the hardware and drivers, since the application is for music that’s why the boot time was so long. You need to maintain this keyboard like a computer… But the guy mentioned something very important “we upgraded the motherboard”… I think the new motherboard doesn’t use fans, what’s mean that they are using ARM s CPUs what is a great improvement and very exciting!!! That will be a good improvement, with the new faster SSD inside. I’m excited to put my hands in one of them… They really improvements are under the hood. For the previous Kronos you could upgrade the SSD until 250GB to upload more samples and add until 3GB of RAM (because it had a old motherboard)… Now I’m excited what motherboard they put it inside to see how much I could upgrade… GOD BLESS YOU!!

thanks Chuck for having us at the NAMM, but I am a little bit disappointed about KORG because I expected a new Korg Kross (3) or the successor of the PA-1000

This was a great overview but I can't help but see Luciano struggling to show enthusiasm for the "new" Kronos 3(really 2.5).

I wish they could have upped the polyphony limits on the Kronos, especially for the MOD7 engine. It looks like the new sounds are comprised of third party condensed teaser expansions, and a lite version of the Italian grand ( no una corda). The GUI doesn’t look all that different to me, aside from more of a contrasting color scheme.
