I love these videos! Nana, you're wonderful! I am trying your super-easy pie crust this afternoon but wanted to comment on this tutorial because I so love your advice when working with a 'new baker.' So few parents (or other adults) show patience when teaching young people but many times that's all it takes. So, bravo! You're not only an awesome baker, you're a wise and insightful teacher.

Ive made this recipe yrs ago but not with a food processor, well let me tell you this is my new favorite way of making lemon bars, squares what ever you call em. It's so fast and easy. I used parchment paper but that not important, these come out delicious. Thanks nana for this way of making these.

Thanks! I love my kitchen. I'm very spoiled now. .Good storage and counter space makes things easier ,but the food is no better. I find that in a small space you just have to keep cleaning up as you go along so the the messes you're making don't overwhelm you. .I had a wonderful lunch last week on Elba made in a kitchen about 6 x 6 ft.I live in Pennsylvania in a suburb of Philadelphia.

Nana, I love your videos. I also love baking, cooking, counted cross stitch and quilting :) I live on the other side of the states as you (Cascade foothills of Oregon) otherwise I would say I would LOVE to meet you some day. I'm going to try your pie crust recipe tonight with some homemade Chicken Pot pie that my hubby and son love. My hubby also loves lemon squares so I will have to make him some soon. Don't I wish. I't probably my third since the 70's but I really do use it like a work horse for grating,crumbing,etc..I do like that I have a choice of 2 slicing options and 2 grating sizes. It also has a little bowl for small jobs.Once you start using one,it's addictive.

One of the joys in my life was doing counted cross stitch. Due to nerve damage my hands have become so crippled painful and numb that I can't even hold the needle any longer. Oh well I will find something I can do! :-)

I am known for my baking and whenever my family needed a fancy dessert they called me. I can't for the life of me make chocolate chip cookies that spread and every time I tried to make lemon squares the lemon middle wouldn't set no matter what I did! I'm a failure at chocolate chip cookies and lemon squares but I can make you a seven-layer Dobosh torte! 😂

I was a Sweet Adeline for 20 years.I'm going to a Valley Forge concert next week and I can't wait! One of my best friends was a baritone and . i think you have to be born with a special talent to sing bari. For most of my time I was a lead but I did sing tenor for a few years .I attribute my comfort with the camera to my experience emceeing for my chorus and quartets. I think it's a wonderful organization.

I agree. I was in it for about 3 years. Also in a quartet. I loved going on sing outs that were several miles away. Because we'd sing and laugh all the way.
