God I’m such a Yuji fan-dude’s humanity is S-tier across shonen. Yeah he’s awesome in a fight, but all my favorite Yuji scenes are quiet, human moments.

Like Gojo said, 80% of a sorcerer potential is determined the moment he's born, Yuji might not have any technique, but his Divergent Fist is something only him can do, his punches are so strong that his Cursed Energy can't follow, causing a 1 second delay, which results in this 2 impacts punch It is really interesting an anime where the main character can't really learn new powers with training, escaping from the old anime formula

the " revealing your hand" power shows up quite a few times throughout the series, and it doesn't matter how you reveal it as long as you do. I wonder if you'll notice sorcerers trying to sneak the explanation into casual conversation later in the season!

This juju stroll is my 2nd fav in this season 😭😂 the 1st is also due to Gojo you'll see it 🤫 18:50 I completely agree, his personality is one of the many reasons that made Gojo my fav fictional character everrr. He's always joking around with everyone but his mind is filled with responsibilities, you'll see it as the story progresses

Kento Nanami is really a GOAT, becoming a first-grade sorcerer without being related to any powerful family like Gojo, Zenin and Inumaki is something admirable. And as already explained to you in the comments, in the world of Jujutsu whenever you give up something you receive something else, by explaining your technique to the enemy, giving up the advantage of the element of surprise, in exchange guarantees that your powers will be buffed. It is a really smart way of giving a use to the cliche talk where the villains reveal their powers to the good guys

Nanami is finally here. Best thing about Nanami is his VA for sure. Kenjiro Tsuda’s voice is just sooooo good. Even on par with Saori Hayami, Shinobu’s VA. Both of them are my top favourite VAs ever. Lol it’s funny to see Megumi slander (in a light, comedic way of course) everytime he gets his ass whooped. Hope he gets some respect from our boi Swanii by the end of this season (if he makes it to that point lol. You never know with stories like these, gotta be on your toes :) ). 11:49 It’s basically typical Shonen characters’ “I’ll tell you the name of my move and shout it and also explain it while you’re standing there listening to it for no reason at all” cliché but now it’s got a good reason. Revealing the technique makes it stronger (because you risk more by revealing it so the pact increases it’s strength) so it seems a bit less illogical now. Pretty good move by the author imo, to be able to dilute a cliché trope just enough by incorporating it into the storyline while also not entirely scrapping it off which would suddenly take from us (a very illogical but still) enjoyable element of Shonen stories. And yes, now we know why Mahito is the only humanoid looking curse among the others. It’s because he is the curse that arose due to the fear of humans themselves. Not much to say today, that’s it. Keep up the good work!

It's not a mind game. In jujutsu you sacrifice something in order to get stronger. In this case you put yourself in a riskier position by revealing your technique so that increases your cursed energy output considerably.

So instead of getting the buff your opponent gets false information and due to pact being widely known they might take the false information at face value
