Whether it is an "awful look" depends on who is watching. On average Americans are pro Israel. Just because in online leftists communities it is a given that you support Palestine, don't make the mistake to extrapolate from that to the general population. Whether you like her or hate her, you cannot deny Pelosi is one of the better connected people in current US politics. If she is pushing a message like that, you can bet that she has polling data available to her that suggest it will be well received.

It makes sense for Russia to do everything they can to support these protests....it weakens Biden and sows distrust. I mean, the protestors are absolutely right but Russia doesn't care about right or wrong....just hurting Biden. If the Dems were smart, they'd support the ceasefire instead of vilifying it. It nullifies whatever shenanigans the Russians may be playing at, and its' absolutely the right thing to do...and it might help Biden's numbers at the same time. I mean, her reaction is entirely wrong, but it is very likely Russia is playing games to undermine Biden support (they know they'll have more luck in Ukraine with Trump) and Israel is Biden's political weakness. The obvious answer for the Dems is to support a ceasefire....obviously because it's the right thing to do, but also because it nullifies whatever anti Biden shenanigans Russian may be playing at. Are the Dems smart enough to work this out. Calling the protestors Russian stooges is absolutely the wrong move.....because it's wrong, but also because it's not going to stop the protests and absolutely increases mistrust in Biden, making him look like a thug. Supporting the ceasefire is really the Dems only sensible move here.
