NANCY SINATRA * bang-bang (my baby shot me down) -1967

Nancy Sinatra and her great hit "Bang-Bang (My Baby shot me down)",taken from her LP album "How does that grab you?".
This is the theme from Quantin Tarantino's flick "Kill Bill Vol 1", Quatin choose the Nancy's version cause is dark and dramatic as the movie sondtrack.

This song was expertly placed in one of my fav movies, "Kill Bill". Tarantino (whatever one may think of him) is some kind of genius with that; the perfect song, in the right spot, to create magnificent effect.

I know that Sonny Bono wrote this for Cher-and Cher did a nice job on her version of this classic-but Nancy Sinatra and her longtime arranger Lee Hazelwood took it to another level with their take on this Sonny Bono gem-Nancy’s vocal and Billy Strange’s guitar are pure magic here!!! PS-I had never heard this version until I saw Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill-Vol.1”20 years ago-I could not believe my ears-what a heartfelt and soulful rendition of a Sonny and Cher classic this version is!!!👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟👌🥇A most beautiful heart-tugger-it grabs you and won’t let go!!!
