I recently bought the PRO version and what a let down. We recently transitioned from SNOO and man do I miss the SNOO as far as being able to see sleeping patterns and what not WITHOUT having to pay! I also used a cheaper monitor which had more video capabilities than the nanit pro. How is it with a $500 setup I cannot record what I want to record? Your little cooing or just being cute, forget about it recording it. The only reason I'm keeping this cash grab camera is my wifey loves the breathing monitor function. Other than that this system is no better than a $100 monitor off Amazon.

I've been eyeing the Nanit but didn't know if it was worth the cost. This video definitely changed my mind. Adding it to my registry now. Thank you!

This sounds great, peace of mind for new parents is priceless. If you wanted the sleep history without paying the premiums could you take a screenshot or take a photo of each others phone if the software in the app doesn't allow screenshots. I would say tho, it's probably not going to be a deal breaker for many, last week is last week. Enjoy every moment with your baby, I blinked and mine are adults ♥️♥️

We also have the Nanit but are waiting to start our free year until baby gets here. I didn’t realize we had to pay extra for the sleep analysis- thanks for the heads up. I am happy with our purchase!

Does this monitor connect to an Apple Watch or Garmin watch and send notification and vibration when the baby cries? We are looking for a monitor for our baby due soon and my husband is deaf so trying to find the most deaf friendly monitor that can help notify my husband when he is with the baby alone. Thanks!

Hey so I got this camera as well, i bought it because you guys! I love it so much, totally worth every penny!!!!! But hated the WiFi part because I was having connectivity issues when my internet would go out which sadly happens quite often but I quickly figured out that the Nanit works locally still as long as your phone and camera are connected to the same modem. You don’t need to have internet! It won’t tell you how long baby has been sleeping which is my favorite part of the camera but you can see and hear your baby without internet. You also won’t be able to see your baby if you’re away from home but at least it still works!

"Why do we need the most expensive baby monitor? " Because you're good parents that care. If I would have invested in this, my baby might still be alive.

This looks like a great investment but I'm poor. 50-300 dollars for the subscriptions is crazy. How can I afford my NFL Sunday ticket? If this is purchased, is it still an effective buy without the subscriptions?

@RnBFam4 жыл бұрын
Honestly, you would think so but it was kind of love at first sight and he never looked back 🤣 There is one called an Owl baby monitor that measured breathing but it was also expensive
@jaimemoore42594 жыл бұрын
I’m considering the V Tech with WiFi that comes with two monitors. We are having twins so would end up at $700 with Nanit for two cameras.
@Rachel-Eden-pie4 жыл бұрын
If you think it’s expensive in the USA count yourself lucky. I had to spend $800 Australian dollars including over priced shipping for the device plus a couple breathing wears. Now that is expensive !!! USA residents pay half that

The nanit is a POS. Had it for 2 weeks and have had 32 false alarms. The alarms are usually around 3 in the morning. Support sucks too. Get the owlet

So basically its a baby version of the Sleep Number beds. Sleep Number beds does everything but record video and sound.
