Nanit Plus Baby Monitor Unboxing & Install

This is AMAZING! One thing to be mindful of is the outlet power source. After a thunderstorm caused a power outage, the volume went out COMPLETELY with the white noise sounds. Nanit was great and provided us with another unit since it’s under warranty, but I keep my unit plugged into a surge protector to avoid being without it again.

You made that look so easy. That looks like a great device. I've heard of people who have had their monitors hacked & other people were able to see the baby. Is there any program that can be added (or is already on the nanit) that will keep it free from creepy creepers?

That was a big concern for us as well. The Nanit touts superior hack prevention and haven’t heard of it being hacked before.

We are saving up for a nanit. My 2 month old is currently cosleeping until we get the nanit and put him in the nursery. Thanks for this installation video. I will come back to it when we get our nanit

Just bought a nanit and watching this video, for me the nanit at the back does not flash for me 3:48. Is that normal ?

We just put up our Nanit today. But baby is only 2 months old so we didn’t pair it since we didn’t want to start our free trial yet since he’s still in our room in the bassinet. Hopefully hubby installed it with the proper height so it will see the crib correctly haha
