It's awful. It's a metallers album. Even Barney recently said about 2 weeks ago in an interview that it wasnt how he would have liked it

I would be chuffed if footage of Mick and Scott fighting while recording the drum tracks ever saw the light of day.

Scott is wearing shirt NAS NUVENS, this is studio where Sepultura recorded Beneath The Remains !!!

It's awesome seeing this, it's kind of a shame that mick was a bit fed up of napalm and ended up leaving not that long after the release of harmony corruption.

This album has that very same distinctive sound that bands of that era used to come out with from Morrisound... You can't miss it.

I'll be honest, I think an Entombed-like sound would have fit ND better, but this is still a classic and my 3rd fave ND album after the first two.

This is one of my favorite Napalm Death albums. Love Harmony Corruption and Diatribes. I think Diatribes is a better mix than HC. JMO

the timestamp at the beginning of the video indicates that this was recorded on January 21st 1988, but that can't be right. does anybody know when ND were actually in the studio recording this album? shouldn't it be more like Jan 21st 1990, as the album was released in July of that year?

Yeah, its awful. You can tell a metalhead when they say that Harmony Corruption is their favourite album from ND 🫤
@MetalArchives06 Жыл бұрын
As a metal head i love this album. My favorite ND album is utopia banished. It has all the qualities of grind and death metal.
@markgrygielewicz8047 Жыл бұрын
I can appreciate that, but, after Mentally Murdered (the pinnacle and the creation of Death Grind), its just so formulaic, so bland, and that production, utter shit. Now Utopia had the best tracks kept off the album, with it's extra 7"/CDs with the initial pressing of the LP and digipak CD. Again, the album sounded off, not a loud as it should be, and fuzzy in the mix.@@MetalArchives06
