Power metal bands "growing out" of fantasy was the dumbest trend I ever saw. I'm glad there's a bunch of new bands that are able to confidently walk that fine line between epic fantasy and embarrassment. Brings me back to the days of being blown away by Rhapsody's Rain of a Thousand Flames and Blind Guardian's Nightfall in Middle Earth.

At the edge of time is a concept album Their latest album has a witcher song They made the song for the game "the dwarves" based on the german books die zwerge... Its called children of the smith and the game has a secret quest for that Maybe youre just not deep enough in fantasy lore if you say blind guardian "grew out of fantasy"

This was filmed at the trolls & légendes festival in Belgium, which is basically 3 days of medieval market, board games and live music all wrapped up in fantasy theme. So yeah you stumble upon some space marine, monk or orc armed with a massive foam hammer in the pits :')
