This was a good video but why did you choose to show his defeat at Samarra instead of his most famous victory at Yeghevard?

@@islammehmeov2334 Let's take a look at what Nader calls himself in his poem on the gold coin he made in Isfahan سکه بر زر کرد نام سلطنت را در جهان «نادر ایران زمین خسرو گیتی ستان» «Nader e Iranzamin Khosrow giti setan» It means «Nader of land of Iran, Khosrow the world conqueror» Afsharids were Turkmen of Iran's Khorasan not Azerbaijan Nader was only crowned in Azerbaijan He wasn't from Azerbaijan The term Iran is literally under his royal stamp and on his tombstone He named his country Iran as it can be seen in his letters to the Ottomans even when he called himself Turkoman, in one of his letters, he used Iran as the name of his country 6 times in that very same letter Why do you think he's called the sword of Persia by the western historians ? Why he's not called the sword of Azerbaijan or Turkmenistan ? Why in the western or Ottoman sources, the Safavid, Afsharid and Qajar is called Persia (western) and Iran (Ottoman) ? According to the official announcement of the General Directorate of State Archives of Turkey [Ottoman Department], during the period of Nader Shah, a total of 22 letters were sent from the Iranian government to the Ottoman government, including 20 letters in Persian, 1 letter in Arabic, and 1 letter in Ottoman Turkish And in his letter in Turkish he wrote : In the dire situation of Iran, the Caucasus had fallen into the hands of the Russians and I took it back, for it was an old part of Iran The words Iran and old Iran (ایران، قدیم ایران) can be seen somewhere between the last 4 or 5 sentences in the same line of that letter Even out of his army of 375,000, barely 120,000 were Turk The rest were from other Iranian provinces

Ottoman-Afsharid Wars were actually Turk vs Turk wars not Persian according to Nader Shah himself. In letters to Mughal and Ottoman rulers, Nädir, in a parallel way, recalled the past by appealing to his common ancestry with them." He, too, sought to establish a world empire, but one that recognized the legitimacy of the contemporary rulers of India, Iran, Central Asia, and the Ottoman Empire, because, as his letters claimed, they each represented a people (an il) that constituted a legitimate Turkic or Timürid successor to the Mongols in particular regions of the Islamic world." Astarābādī described the Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah as being "of the Turkmän tree and the scion of the Gürkânl (i.e. Timürid] family." A letter from Nädir to the Ottoman 1129 Sultan Mahmud I addressed Mahmüd as "the world-illuminating light of the Turkmän royal house.30 Avoiding any specific definitions of these ancestral Turkic ties, Nadir appealed to them as a way to reconnect disparate Muslim realms. In its audacity, Nadir's vision resembled Timür's grandiose plans. Both tried to invent the tradition of an imagined unity that had never actually existed, and could, in any case, only be implemented anyway by glossing over irreconcilable differences. Pfeiffer, J. and Woods, J., n.d. History and historiography of post Mongol Central Asia and the Middle East. pp.338, 339.

I think tahmasp should battled the Afghan instead of Ottoman and Mader should use his cavalry to atop the Ottoman cavalry, only use his cavarly to attack the infantry after their ottoman counter part being neutralized 😅
