I think it was a good movie, but the movie forgotten Spain and Portugal invasion, extend the ottoman fight, sweden and maybe the Spanish American Countries Independence, that final point wasn't necesary to add in the movie.

The movie was running long enough as it was. I don't think Ridley Scott wanted to drag it out for over three-or-so hours.
