Great review - thanks. It kind of makes me think of a two-player version of Field Commander : Napoleon by DVG. No, not just the leading character! It's the break-out battle map combined with the implicit simplicity of the system. Looks like a great light wargame. If there is anyone that likes this game that fancies something they can play solitaire then I would definitely suggest the DVG game,

Great review. If you like quality components then you really need to check out Sekigahara. That game is a piece of art and the coolest block war game I have ever tried.

Looks good. Wonder, would be possible to colour photocopy the map to make a one third larger version as you suggest? Might have to copy the map in sections, which could then be affixed to a sturdy foldable board. Just an idea. Great review, thanks, feel i could play this game right away based solely on your explanation of how it works.

Played it for the first time yesterday. Host had map copied at Staples at larger scale, then had the 36”x36” map laminated. I still found the map crowded at times with his 16x unit armies grouped on one town but stacking the units helped. Definitely our game would’ve been severely crowded on the default map. Great game though.
