Each one is unique and have their unique leaders and unique spins on theology, but, in the end, they twist Scripture for wicked gains and to advance their own agendas. Both give an illusion of Christianity, but in reality, they do not introduce people to the true Jesus Christ, but to a Jesus they've invented. And that is the end goal of it all (while also making some money of you in the process...). Personally, I would guess that currently, the NAR is the worst and most dangerous of the two as it probably has the greatest following and is more popular amongst the youth and middle age groups. They operate much more spectacularly than the WOF. The impressive bands and conferences (coupled with seeming miracles and healings) are a big drawing factor that the traditional WOF movement just can't match.

I worked for what ended up being a NAR (or NAR aspiring) church, and it was stuff like this that opened my eyes to the Truth. Leaving and the aftermath really did feel like having PTSD. It tooks a solid year to recover my faith, which i nearly lost from the situation. It was an abusive church and situation.

And I saw a lot of cruelty and control and greed and so here I am with no church, I don't know where to go ...I don't know what to do...and I know I'm not the only one ....but it's a very, very lonely existence and yes, you could call me *backslidden*...but it's not my fault. I think I've said this before on this channel but I was a victim of NAR. I Find it interesting that nar is the beginning of narcissism this movement creates narcissists. I was damaged, my wife died of cancer, I Believed the false teachings of Bill Johnson, kenneth Copeland, and other false teachers in this movement. it's taken me the last seven or eight years to reestablish myself in the understanding of who Christ is what the Bible really teaches and now try and help others that have been overcome by these false teachers and this false movement. again I wanna thank you for making your videos and helping to educate so people can break free from this damaging teaching.

I believe at this point, as much I wish it wasn’t so… that Dr Brown is a really shady character. I appreciated his work at one point, but after careful consideration and watching how he operates for some time now, I no longer trust his integrity. I truly believe Dr Brown is more dangerous than Bill Johnson and others within the NAR because of the credibility he’s able to garner from many leaders and scholars within Christendom. He’s highly educated, no doubt. But, he uses his knowledge to promote and defend some very dangerous teachings and people. Showing no regard for his supposed fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I wish someone would investigate Dr Brown thoroughly and provide a detailed account of all of his work within the Charismatic movement, his consistent obfuscation, and relationships/protection of leaders who promote manipulative teachings and false doctrine. For years, I've been saying that Brown is a dangerous guy. He will stand on his head, do back flips and tie himself in knots to protect charismania. And I don't think he can be trusted to tell the truth. For instance, he claims Sid Roth as a very close friend whom he has known for many years, but says that never once has he tuned into Roth's clown show to see what was going on. He was one of the co-creators of the document. One of its purposes is to distinguish what he considers the real, acceptable NAR from what he considers the fake version. In his view, the criticisms by Holly, Doug, the Longs, JP, etc. apply almost exclusively to the "fake" version.

I read and listened to all NAR teaching, starting with Peter Wagner, I actually heard him using "NAR" for the first time. I was thinking it was something big like Martin Luther's theses and thus the Reformation and became excited about it. After I became a true believer of Jesus Christ and read the Bible, I was ashamed how illiterate I was and how easily deceived. I was up to my eyeballs in false teachings, but God in His mercy and grace saved me and took me out of false teachings. Let us continue to pray for those who are in NAR and other false teachings, Jesus' blood atoning sacrifice is offered to them as well. Dear Lord, have mercy.

The one thing that perhaps should change is a better focus on community, which means smaller rather than larger congregations. There is a limit to how many people one can be in relationship and in community with. I have realized this in the aftermath of my widowhood, and the sense of becoming isolated as a result. Biblically, there is no authoritarian church structures. There are gifts for service. The Catholic Church started a hierarchy structure that Protestants still use today. With unbiblical authority comes unbiblical revelations (thus we have cults). NAR is a natural extension of this unbiblical structure. Scripture, God's spoken word, should be our absolute authority, not man. As for me, the Lord alone is my shepherd.

I think of the recent lying tongue of ‘pastor Biggs’ (supposed pastor) and his prediction or ‘word from god’ (I do mean little g) that Trump would have an assassination attempt by a bullet PASSING BY Trumps Ear causing ear damage. LIE. It hit him. Then Biggs said Trump would get up and be ‘on fire for Christ’. Really? Then why did he play a round of golf the very next day, a SUNDAY, instead of going to church to thank Christ for saving his life!? Then in an interview with Laura Ingram, when asked about his ‘faith’ and heaven, Trump said ‘I HOPE I’VE done enough good to make it to heaven. If not then I go the other direction”. I honestly wish Trump fully believed n Christ’s saving work, but he’s not there yet. But, Biggs is a LIAR, FALSE TEACHER, and is leading so many away from TRUTH. He’s a stumbling block!

Scripture indicates that there were only 12 people chosen for the office of Governing Apostle and they had to meet certain criteria. Matthias replaced Judas to make the 12. Acts 1:21-26. Paul was a sent one, (also called Apostle)...and so was Barnabas Acts 14:14. However because they didn’t meet the criteria, they didn't hold the Office of Governing Apostle. In fact, they went to confer with the Governing Apostles at the Jerusalem Council. The NAR are acting contrary to the established order given by Jesus in the scriptures and there is no allowance for them in the future New Jerusalem either according to Rev. 21:14. 😬

Matthias is the non apostle. Jesus himself replaced Judas with Paul. No casting lots needed.

In Luke 6:13 Jesus specifically called the 12 Apostles and in Acts 9:15 Jesus specifically called Paul a "chosen vessel" of His...not a Governing Apostle. Besides that, my point is, the foundation of the New Jerusalem is the teachings of ONLY 12 Governing Apostles, not as many as call THEMSELVES Apostles.

Today we have believers that can have apostolic gifts but that doesn’t make them Apostles. Just like believers can have prophetic gifts but it doesn’t make them Prophets. Everything changed when the Veil was torn at the passing of Christ Jesus on the cross and all can go in to find God beyond the Veil. There are no more mediators between man and God anymore.

There are NO prophets today. Not since the 12 died. I was always open to these continuationist views until 5 years ago when I began rejecting the ridiculous activities in these churches and ministries. Since then I have received increasingly greater clarity on all these issues. The light increases as we reject the false teachings. But if we reject the light of the truth in these things, we lose light and understanding. This is directly proportional. The sad thing is that those who go darker in the ligh of truth don't realize they are going dark. Infact, they think they are getting more "Spiritual".

Revelation speaks of the New Jerusalem that sits on twelve foundations, representing the “twelve apostles” and the 12 gates named after the 12 tribes of Israel . Don’t see any new apostle names mentioned only the twelve, they should read the Bible!!!
