Hey Everyone, I’m Dāv Kaufman. I’m a film producer and author and I travel around the world filming amazing reptile, fishing and animal adventures! I’m also an ardent conservationist and reptile breeder, specializing in New Caledonian geckos, bullsnakes, hognose snakes, and ball pythons, especially pied morphs. I hold a BA in History and Media Studies and graduated Summa Cum Laude. In my travels around the world, I strive to create educational and entertaining videos about all animals from common and exotic pets and how they are living in the wild, to animal caregivers and keepers of exotics, to fishing expeditions from the exotic to local waterways. This is Lana’s mom. The young lady that won the award. I wanted to thank everyone for the kind word to Lana. She truly is amazing. While she does Reptipets with her Dad and I don’t have much to do with it she did leave out a few things she also does. She is also a member of the FFA. She raises, breeds, and shows chickens and sheep. She also goes to other schools on her breaks and shows and educates the kids about reptiles and invertebrates. She is amazing!!! ❤ Thank you Dav for presenting Lana with the trophy.

Maybe you could get her to give you her presentation and maybe you could gain some interest in the animals that she clearly has fallen in love with! Shout out to the young ladies parents. Ofcourse she is fantastic!!! As a parent the best thing u can do is support things your child might b into even if u "hate" snakes,bugs, fish whatever. As a kid I learned more responsibility taking care of my pets and the value of money which helped tremendously when It was time to get a "real job".. I wish the whole family much success 👏🏿

Message to the rare gecko lady! Try placing clear plastic like an iPad screen scratch saver sheet etc… place them to the walls and when the eggs get laid you just lift out the plastic which can be trimmed around the adherence point to be able to place in incubation.

The camera is an old Tapo model that costs about 20-30 USD branded as Tapo. It is very good. Tapo has a lot of models and work very good exept for light balancing. However if your enclosure light doesnt reflect to fi the backwall its no problem. I've had mine for about 3 years.

Dave I too love the paradoxing that takes place. Take a look at Pacific.Royals they have 2 very unique animals with very similar genes both have ghi and banana but they also have another gene or two that are different from 2 different breeders I believe

Dav, just a thought, but knowing how you strive to educate about animals environments, I’m suprised that the award trophy isn’t environmentally friendly 😢.. Surely a beautifuly carved sustainable wooden version would have been better..plus would gain patina as it aged rather than probably getting broken or in the least creating environmental toxic waste from the batteries 🤔
